Beautiful bus unique like you. I love how your sensitivity with re-purposing and artistry come through so clearly. Thank you for sharing your one of a kind home on wheels (including your messages you write on the chalkboard at the rear of the bus. This whole project made me smile. 💟☮️🕉
Andi, you have touched my heart ~ what a beautiful being you are! Thank you for sharing this video ~ Sending you light, love, peace, joy and abundance always. I love you
The library! Yaz! Trading books, cedar and dumpster diving! I wish we could all say 'no more Amazon', and look to our community before we think we have to give our $ to a big box bs. dude, you are soooo on the right path of something I need. I watch, I 'like', I subcribe, I buy, shop local, shop within a community that ALL benefit from. Safe travels. Hope to see you on the road.
I really do envy this. Honestly with the way things are going in the world and economy, I might just work for a year and save up all the money I can and try to convert my own little short bus/van to live in. I would love to live like this, I'm sure some of the days are worse of course. But being this free, to go where ever you want with a comfy little bus that you made yourself, sounds really nice!
It’s very nice and is much less stress than living in a conventional home or apartment. I have just begun my journey with my bus but so far I have not found any days that were worse than conventional living and I absolutely love it and wish I started 20 years ago honestly!! It’s so much better than I even had expected it would be but I’m sure I’ll run into a few bad days at some point but it won’t ever be bad enough to drive me back to conventional again!! Get ya a plan together, save some money up, and try and find a liquidation store in your area that sells clearance and close out/returned merch from Home Depot, Lowe’s, Amazon, etc and start buying things you’ll need if your gonna convert a bus yourself. That way you can end up with a high end, luxurious bus that is absolutely gorgeous and won’t cost you an arm and a leg! I’m getting nice stuff for 75%-90% off regular retail price! My bus is gonna be gorgeous when I’m done and will be exactly what I want but I’ll have next to nothing in it cause I won’t buy anything at full retail price. All of it is brand new stuff but at heavily discounted prices!! Do your research and all before jumping in to it and you will find a lifestyle worthy of falling in love with! It is freeing and less stressful than conventional and worthy of checking out. It may even be worth renting a converted van for a week or month and hit the road and go off grid for a few weeks to see how you like it. There are folks that rent converted vans and small buses so you can test the lifestyle before making a life changing decision tho. Good luck out there and be safe!!
Your greatest healing comes from the power, love and grace of God. Great build. Love all the reclaimed/upcycled materials. Makes things so personal, homey, warm, inviting. Not a tea fan but the idea is cool anyway. Love the roof idea. Multi purpose use that can be dismantled in no time. And you can’t go wrong being near the ocean. God bless!
love what youve done - brilliant - can't help thinking , Father make Yourself real to him - You are whats missing in his life - he wont ever feel whole til He reconnects with You xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Should still run the vehicle so often to make sure you can always move it because nothing and I mean nothing is worse then you have to move it and you can't.,. You might not think you're going to but you might have to, you never know...
Your heart shines! It is such a cliché, but loss really can provide the path towards an existential healing. Which does not make loss a path I advocate! Merely a path I acknowledge.
This is such a beautiful Skoolie. I have always wanted to convert one of my own, and this inspires me! Also can't wait to get my hands on some Parks Project gear for the perfect Xmas gifts!
I'm an artist 🎨 too. I'm really digging his artistic expression & attitude of trading his art for art/crafts for his van! I am totally going to be doing the same! Great vibes & beautiful build!
this is how an artist builds, great job, I love that table but feel I should caution you about cooking in tinfoil, its not tin, its aluminum and you wouldn't use aluminum pots would you
The amount of aluminium that can leach into your system when you cook with foil is minuscule and doesn't affect your health. All the myths about cooking with foil have been debunked and it's considered safe.
@@vanveen8472 I certainly get your point and of course it's up to every individual person to decide for themselves. However I think using foil in cooking is ok providing it isn't used on a daily basis. I have looked into this before and although I rarely use it myself I don't have a problem with it. In the modern world there seems to be very few things we can ingest which doesn't lead to some sort of detrimental effect. Guess life is one big risk and everyone makes their own health choices anyway.
Hey thanks for the message, I'm living permantly on a piece of property now with this bus so I have a seperate composting toilet. But when I'm on the road my fav is digging holes if I'm in nature or public bathrooms :) Thinking of putting a little bucket toilet in my new build that can pull out of a bench seat and be portable to move outside.
When editing, could you please just put in 1/10 of a second, where no one is talking? It's just one long continuous stream of words, and it's so annoying. No time to think or enjoy the pictures.
Dead giveaway that the guy doesn't actually surf, flaunting his board out without a board bag on the side of the rig. Thing looks trashed and not water tight at all. Gotta love the posers!
There's not much big water in the PNWU. People out that far in the boonies don't really care what the rest of the world thinks, they just do what works for them.
