Sewing a curved hem

Tips and tricks to sewing a curved hem either on a flared skirt, or a shaped hem
on the bottom of a shirt. This technique is suitable for light or delicate fabrics such as cotton lawn or shirt-weight cotton, polyester crepe or other lightweight synthetics.
