I run 0|18|12 mysteries on riven it increases your shield and u get less damage by creeps n stuff.. it works pretty well and u can also use it for jungling with her

Hey dude, I know it's not the best way to ask you something but you're pretty fast at reacting to comments ;)
The thing is that recently I find myself forced to buy black cleaver (tank matchup, tank in enemy team..) but then I wasn't able to get much flat pen so then I felt like I lacked some damage on squishies.
So that's why I wondered why nobody takes armor pen in reds ? You trade 8.55 AD for 11.52 armor pen, which sounds worth it to me. Still, I'd like to hear your opinion on that : would armor pen let us do more damage most of the time? 11.52 pen allows to ignore about 1/3 to 1/4 of a champ's armor really, which sounds reaaally good.
I the same way, I started thinking about taking scaling armor in yellows, because of how awkward it is to fit armor into the build, outside of tabi. It gives 27 armor at lvl 18, and gives more than flat armor when reaching level 7
So basically what's your opinion on armor pen reds and scaling armor yellows?
+TNTeam MC riven is all about early mid game there have been lots of videos about ad vs armor pen and ad seems to be much better helps last hitting and helps you with early game i wouldnt go armor pen its not that good vs tanks and its not good to get it to get that for squishies armor per lvl is fine if youre vs a liss or kennen ´think of it this way always when im vs a champ with no mr at llv 1 as a mage its free lane same goes for not having any armor
+Riven Feeds last hitting shouldn't be taken into consideration, as it can made up by just practicing. I'll look for these videos you're talking about ;)
Riven Feeds Alright so I've looked it up and the best answers I saw said that pen offered more champion damage but flat AD offered easier CSing ... however since CSing is a mechanic that can be practiced, I feel like armor pen has the advantage.
Especially since the last whisper changes, the mastery changes that causes them to no longer give pen (at least when you go thunderlord's, as you take 5% cdr over scaling pen), and the "removal" of brutalizer, I think getting armor pen is an option that deserves to be reconsidered.
I'll try out the following rune page to see the results : AD quints, armor pen marks, scaling armor seals, 6 flat cdr glyphs and 3 scaling cdr glyphs.
+TNTeam MC you seem to forget that rivens abilities scale out of ad W E 1.0 ad ratio its just so good on someone like hecarim armour pen is extremely good but he doesnt scale out of any abilities well on ad :p
Riven Feeds I'm sorry but rune wise, 8.55 AD difference, let's say 9 AD, you're losing 9 damage on W which isn't much, and also losing 9 health on E but the shield doesn't last long anyway. And the scaling armor would help out fixing the E being slightly lower ;)
I mean 9 damage less on W and 9 health less on E shield sounds like a very tiny tradeoff for 12 armor pen
I try to main riven (i have 117k mastery points on her) but I don't get good at her! I mained her hard in season 5 but i stopped for a moment and now I'm struggling pretty hard
+Jano Wijnants Its a common thing good thing is that you got muscle memory doesnt take long for you to remember those mechanics and get back to your roots keep playing pratice her hard ive had the same thing happen to me many many many times :D

is it a good idea to rush Maw against someone like Rumble for example?
+HelioForce vs rumble you want to get that cdr boots and warhammer but yes it can be completely fine if you get maw first item vs something like ryze lissandra anything with burst but preferably you would want cdr especially vs rumble cuz theres no way you can kill rumble in 1 rotation of spells unless fed

Hello silly :D amazing vid as usual :) I have read the comments below and I see u are looking at a site with new masteries and set ups! I read through it and it seems that Fervor is picked more than thunderlord! For example against a fiora or a yasou it recommended fervor! And since I am ur silly kohai who doesn't play ranked. Do u recommend fervor overall? And if I am up against a fiora early I usually start dorans then go for hydra- cdr boots- qss cuz of her ult then sterak's or cleaver. Good or shit? xD overall I am thinking thunderlord on riven is dying out! Grasp is meh cuz u do so much less damage. Ur thoughts?

+Ebaa sami i still think thunderlords is good but its situational i like fervor a lot so far been trying it out the past few days vs fiora? just ban her KappaPride i would go tiamat warhammer or cdr boots both eventually not sure which order then i would get DD and go ghostblade or something like that unless there is someone else you might need qss for as well i doubt at that point you will be dueling fiora so getting qss later on just for her would seem a bit odd tbh

+Riven Feeds Well, i normally will just build it no matter who I'm against, normally get it like 3rd/4th. Since you said to get it against some tankier top laners ill start doing that because i wouldn't of done that (thought it was for squishy champs)Would it be good vs renek? Garen? After hydra?
+Ace Pyah i mean the item itself is bad vs a tank but sometimes if you think you can burst the midlaner or botlane adc or support maybe the jungle is squishy too going cleaver cdr boots hydra dusk is a nice thing to do unless if you need Qss or Maw it can be good vs rene if he decides to build dmg vs garen however it is pointless

+Ace Pyah Hmm no he doesnt actually heal during the time you fight him someone like mundo does thats a much better purchase and garen doesnt actually heal much till hes lvl 16
