I’d be open to hearing a dissenting opinion, though!

It's amazing how listening to some songs takes you back to what you felt when your first heard them. I remember hearing this for the first time when the boy I thought I loved told me he saw me just as just a friend. It was October, I was very sad and I painted a lot of trees. We're still really good friends! And really our relationship works better as friends anyway. But this song will always remind me how upset I was back then :')
