Thank you for all the nice videos you post up for us. You're a damn good tier. I bet many of us would love to see pics of the boxes you carry on the water. Along with why or how you pack your different boxes. And maybe any tips you might have for an occasional bug that maybe we would not know. Thanks Mak
Thank you friend, I really appreciate that, I am a really organized Fly Boxes Person Lol, My Boxes Looks messy :), I would love to post my Boxes Pics, but I am stuck in abroad for last 6 months, Due to a COVD19, once I am back in UK I will post that, Regards,,, Mak :)))
Mak I just wanted to say thank you for your many videos. You have become a valuable resource:) Two questions if I may- What nationality are you and where/ what is your favourite place to fish? Jay (Australia)
@@Makflies Thanks for the reply Mak :) I visited England a few years ago. I bought a lovely little split cane fly rod from the old man who made it in a small town in Somerset, then drove back into Devon and caught a nice rainbow with it within the hour. Two items crossed off my bucket list:) Where do you fish? Jay
@@JayInOz1 I live in Leeds West Yorkshire, I fish normally on my Local Reservoir in North Yorkshire ( Fewston , Leighton , ) , As for the River I fish River Wharfe & Aire, some time I go to Scotland , :))
Hello again Mak. Just wondering if it would be possible to see your version of a small mouse pattern please? Apologies if it's been covered but I couldn't see one. A friend of mine used to swear by them for large browns, especially at night. The way things are on the farm at the moment, night looks like being the only time I'll get a chance to fish:) First day of summer here- will reach 42C at my place- want to swap? Jay
Hi Jay, To be honest I have never tied a Mouse Pattern before, I will have to look into it, also need to Practice, I have seen Deer Hair Mouse Patterns they Look amazing, I will have to think of my own easy Version of it, Regards,,, Mak
Thanks Mak, I wouldn’t have thought of using blue Marabou if I had not watched you demonstrate a beautiful winter wet fly. Cheers mate. Harera
