How cute this would be for mothers day if you bought a sheet of premade fondant and let the kids paint on it and then place that on top of a cake!! Super sweet!
the one problem with this is if you tell the small child it's edilble and you arent careful, they may think all finger paint is edible and cause quite a bit of trouble-
The sugar doesn't make it taste good. It still tastes pretty yuk. The sugar just helps it to hold together better but you can add some salt if you wish :D
Lol. You reminded me of an early Rolf Harris when you started painting in that video, and brit comedians usually attribute that line to him when he's painting - "Can you guess what it is yet?" :)
They still do love this stuff, especially cooking and creating. Some days it feels like that's all we do. I work in Childcare and we don't let the children use technology when in care, because they get enough of that at home.

Some people here must have never been a child/ worked with children/had a child to not realize that the purpose of this paint isn't that it should be eaten. Just that if a small child happens to ingest a little of the paint nothing adverse will happen to them
If it does stain fingers you can easily get some vegetable oil, put some on a paper towel and rub the stained area and with a little bit of elbow grease. It should lift out the staining pigment and you can wash your hands and get that icky vegetable oil off of you.
It's not about eating the paint, more about toddlers putting everything in their mouth. It's just safer.

It's 2020, and i just realise, non toxic paints for toddlers is expensive like craaaaaazy. This should really help to get them going.

They aren't meant to eat it. It's for painting & if some gets into their mouths it's not an issue :D

I don't know what half a cup is in grams as it's different depending on what you put in the cup. :D

Regular paint is or can be toxic. The beauty of this is that it's non-toxic. So it's very safe for kids.
