I originally wrote the script to have Houg as the best one, but after playing all of the maps again for the footage, I chose Tyrolean Village over Hougomont.
La ferne de haunt is a good map i can say,There are 2 spots for camping as a navymen (seamen) or musician.Also old guard on this map,there is a medium range of space in this map,but its overall ok,and its kind of the only endless map with old guard.Thats what i can say
I got easy old guard in hougoumont camping the corner with like 8 more seamen and a fifer. Also 2-3 sappers, the zombies basically never gets through the barricades
Not gonna lie I LOVE vard endless, mostly cause I NEVER see it played except in super rare situations, making every playthrough a special experience. Also, Hougoumont lets you play as the piper, so it's got a bonus there!
When I was played G&B first time, the first map I played was La Haye Sainte. There's 2 sappers, 1 officer, 1 medic and 2 infantry one of me. I asked them about game's topic and they just say they trying get old guard. I was tried survive too but I was accidenlty melleed a bomber
I saw the Huogomont complaints and immediately went, "What?". I play with brightness jacked up, no textures, no smoke, and no particles because my pc gets deep fried if I run on 2 graphics.
Tyro is actually a pretty good map (in my opinion) to grind Francs or Old Guard on; the alleyway makes it really easy for the shamblers and bombers to stack up in one spot, which makes seaman a viable option for this map. The only downside is that you'll probably need a few competent sappers.
i wish we could get a New Objective map. like Defending the Sailship frigate from abunch of zombies climbing on from the Port as you try to get supplies and defend the ship, and to survive for 23 Minutes and for 20 Mens in the Boat
Hougoumont is one of the best endless map i've know because you can freely have a chance to explore the outside but also have amount of various house that you can freely explore.. it can be easily avoided some hordes when you are in always the comfortable space, a good desicion and properly execute the clutch... There is some also people who are able to seeing darkness and go outside for themself. (which they can be useful when it comes up to clutch.)
Well vardohus is actually the first objective map ever added in dec 2022 ( I still remember when everyone tried to camp at the cannons rather than the port) the current vardo is a revamped as the old vardo is too big and had the snow slowing you down mechanic plus a frostbite mechanic although you don’t die it just slows your reload and swing speed. When I played that old vardo the map was way too broken with broken pathfinding and having a lot of dead space so they revamped it. Some remnants of the old vardo remained like the tower with the underpass having an actual interior as that part used to be accessible
I actually developed a strategy for tyrolean village and I think it's pretty fool proof (And yes you have to be at the cliff in order for this to work?
Playing in tyro is fun cuz of the map being small and the multiple ways of dying, seeing people die because they are dumb is funny, and also the C L I F F
You can turn off the gunpowder smoke thats annoying you in settings its really annoying on xbox so i only found out when i got old guard mobile doesn't have a problem with it i eont onow about pc though
If you play on PC, then there is A, a hung zombie, and B, drawings of realistic zombies that show what they would look like in real life. Due to not being able to have too much blood and gore, console version of G&B doesn’t have those two features.
vard is my favourite map simply because of the amount of routes and kiting oppurtunities you can make/use its only considered the worst by people if they only use guns or dont know how to kite zombies i also dont think its fair to rank stuff in a game that your not even that good at no offense
I rank them by how much fun I have playing them, not on grinding strats, but fair enough I guess. Also I just don’t enjoy the Vardo endless map as much as the others. That’s all.
i hate these rankings so i made my own for worst to best la haye sainte, its boring really boring la ferme d en haut, its not that bad but it has got nothing on the rest and also clutching is pretty cool here hougoumont, its got 3 camping spots, the spawn stand, the well stand, and the maze corner. they all seem to have different playstyles so ill rank them at the end of the list vardohus fortress, again kinda like hougumont but alot more movement wave1-19 ur team will be at the church wave20+ ur team will go back to the spawns and either camp the bedhouse or the house with the cellar its difficult to defend and the igniters are the main enemy, zappers love the tight places so do shamblers, runners are on vacation, bombers only seem to get to the door before they die at the barricade fort its medium difficulty to clutch tyrolean village, the only map where nock gun users wont be thrown into a fire or a cliff as long as ur *part* of the team is at the cliff yes part of the team, the team splits in 3 parts, the cliff team holds most and is the team the other 2 protect, the church team is the 2nd biggest and holds 3-5 people they defend both ladders and sometimes fire at the horde attacking the main team, the house team is the smallest with only 2-4 people sometimes even with just 1, 1-2 people will be blunderbuss/rifle at the ledge and then theres either a sapper defending the house but not defending their barricades after building them so its not even that useful the ledge snipers will kill the horde when it comes close to the cliff edge and sometimes even the church spawns so heres my ranking of the hougoumont camp spots, the spawn spot is my favorite since people spawning in can set positions before the zombies arrive which sometimes makes the fort at this side bigger than the well side but also keep in mind the spawns are a bit closer here, the well zone which is more common everyone knows their positions so its a bit cleaner i guess, the maze corner gets rid of sight and is almost as boring as the starting waves on la haye sainte teams who do maze corned suck 📜✍🔥🔥🔥
