Some comments to the currency part: 1) Croatia is a part of the eurozone since 2023, ditching the Kuna 2) Austria used to have schillings and Slovenia had tolars
would be so cool if you make an asmr video "how to" kind of video for beginners who dont know how/have much knowledge on how to read maps. Ive become 100X more interested in wanting to learn to read maps and maps over-all since finding your channel and watching your videos!
Really nice video! Loved the "antartica being a desert" fact :) And fun fact too: the Amazon river is the biggest in the world if you consider volume of water
28:06 the book says the name of this statistic is "wealth" but the definition provided is actually annual income (formally, "Gross Domestic Product per capita"). Assuming the map is colored according to GDP per capita, I believe it is more or less accurate. Converting GDP per capita to US dollars is a common convention to compare countries with different currencies, but there are multiple ways to do it, primarily depending on whether you just use market exchange rates or you adjust for the relative cost of living. So you can look up three different sources of GDP per capita for the same countries and same years and end up with slightly different results. The one statistic that stands out as wrong is that they list Luxembourg as having a GDP per capita of $73,910, but all sources I checked report it as the richest country in Europe, with GDP per capita exceeding $100K.
I think the arctic circle is that 3rd faint ring - 1.5 lines out from where you pointed. It’s a faint label above the word Siberia on one side and Canada on the other. 41:27

I know that there's a well-known publishing house in the UK and in the world as well. I'm about penguin books, I especially adore cloutbound series by its cover. So I'd like to know whether you have any local shops in your city or in another place in Wales. And what do you think about this publishing house at all? Thanks for your feedback in advance
I don't think there is a north hemisphere bias on world maps. (and Africa is mostly a northern hemisphere continent^^) It's just the closer to each pole the more stretched, the closer to the equator the more compressed Fun fact: about 9 in 10 people worldwide lives north of the equator
Most African countries were colonized by European countries such as France, Great Britain, etc. When it came to defining borders between colonies, they did not bother much and made them straight, which often led to interethnic conflicts, because minerals were found in the territories. I am Russian and the message was written through a translator, sorry for the mistakes.
Hello from your local Geordie, I love this type of ASMR. Interestingly makes me sad kinda, might sound silly but I often wish the Scottish border wall moved past Newcastle/Wearside or that we could have our own mini gov lol. The neglect and poverty is gettin really bad. Ps Your accent is also lush 👌
It doesn’t rain in Antarctica. It is a sparse desert. It is one of largest continents in the world. 5.5 million square miles of nothing. It is the very definition of hell
Ireland is poor mate. Safe haven for corporations to make money. Tax free. Irish people are on the dole and living in poverty. Everyone knows this. I was born in US. First generation. It breaks my heart because I know I can’t afford to move to my homeland in my lifetime

does any of you know why most african countries have rather more simple and straight borders compared to others? im geniunely curious.

My fav accent in the UK is the Geordie one, it's perfect! I hear you, it's almost like the North doesn't exist to those in London...
As a Scottish person with Northern English family I would happily annex the North of England yes
Do you have an email for business enquiries?
Sure, it's welshasmr82@gmail.com
Portugal used Escudos!
Ah yeah!
Vary good video man😃🎉
Thanks 😁
Want to learn spannish can anyone suggest a site or channel for a novice thanks

Finnland's currency was also called Mark(ka).
Oh was it?
Cool to see you calling colonialism by its name. Feel a lot of RUclips’s sugar coat it. Solidarity with all occupied and colonised peoples
@pdfgthe USA also still colonises Puerto Rico

Fun fact about the size of Brazil:

Yet everything there is so expensive! Dublin is outrageously so. Such a pity, the Irish are bloody lovely people.
