This is exactly where I am in my RUclips journey at the moment. I’m considering a new camera but want to make sure I have a lot of the basics sorted first. I’ve been looking at lighting recently as I’ve been getting a little frustrated with how I’ve been looking on camera lately. Thanks for the tips, really liked the video. 👍👍👍👍
Hey girl! I watched this video last night and recorded a new RUclips video this morning with your lighting tips, changing rooms/locations, blurring the background and some other tips you used in this video- holy hell! I'm stoked for my new video!!! You totally just helped me level up!! Thanks!!
Since a lot of cameras don't have mic jacs...you can also use something like a Yeti/Snowball or other USB mic, and plug it into your laptop. Then record your video, and the sound separately. When you import into the editing software, synchronize the audio from your mic with the audio from your camera, then mute/delete the camera audio, which is just a guidetrack. It's helpful to clap your hands a few times before you start talking, so there are some loud noises to help the program sync the audio
I LOVE this video! Can you tell me if your lighting is just natural lighting when the sun is out or do you look flawless because of a filter that you use in editing? I am new to this and trying to learn how to make great looking videos! Thank you!!!
You inspire me to start my youtube channel in my own language and Sharing RUclips Tips and Social media Marketing tuts, and today we got 3K Subscribers :) Thanks!
omg i am obsessed with cathrin! I have a video request, can you PLEASE do a tutorial on how you do that thing where you place a video suggestion like at 13:19 ? if you did it would be the best thing ever love ya ☺️
Thanks for sharing the amazing tips! I have the same camera but my videos look nothing like yours. Please consider making a tutorial about your lens, camera settings, etc?
I adjusted the settings to make them look the way they look now! I hated the factory settings that came with this camera. If you watch my videos about my RUclips process how I film and edit videos, that has the settings I use in there with the color profile to get the image you see!
Your tips are so simple and practical! I really appreciate the work you put into them. They’re full of straight to the point, useful info! Can’t wait to shoot my next one! 👏🏾👏🏾
I watch a lot of how to videos for youtube creators. You are most entertaining and helpful. I appreciate that you share your personal experience as a growing creator.
honestly dope ass tips. i just started doing youtube again like doing motovlogs etc and these small tips help. you really just gotta ride the small train before you can upgrade to first class you know? but bro great video keep it up.
Definitely needed to subscribe after watching this. Although these are tips that I have heard before, I guess the way you put it or described it made me actually realize and want to make better videos for myself and the audience. thumbs up on this one !
Hi girl!! LOVE your videos, they've taught lots about pinterest specially! Great tips on this one too... just a minor observation, I make videos for a living, and I own a M50, which I believe you too have. The M50 has a somewhat decent internal mic, but cameras in general have horrible internal mics, I really would reccomend anyone to buy a microphone, even a cheap 20 dollar lavalier can do a better job. Or your phone in your pocket, that's a nice trick 😉 Anyway, keep up the great work!
I’m going to invest in one in the future but at this point, I don’t see the need! I want to make sure that I’m spending my money wisely and giving my audience the content that they enjoy. And so far, no complaints on my audio! 🙌🙌
Thanks so much Cathrin! 😃I’m well over 1200 subs now and your helpful tip was one of the first I discovered with energy that kept my attention. 😅 Just realized I wasn’t subscribed but luckily you were one of the top results when I searched "youtube tips".
I don’t think you need an external mic if the it sound good already right now :) By the way jst got the m50 recently. What aperture setting did u have?
Great video your amazing! How do put a screen record into your video? If I wanted to take a screenshot and put it in a video I’m recording. Boy! Does this even make sense!!! 🤯🥴😆 sorry hope I’ve explained it properly. 🤭😄
this is such a great video and I never would have thought about how looking in the view finder affects your videos! i have the same camera and would love if you could talk more about the specific settings
I am not worried about the camera as I love the look I get from my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 android phone. My problem is my content. I am trying to make a difference in Seattle and America. I talk about what I find is relevant. I have image issues (my teeth needs work) I add tags to the video and try to keep my videos to about 10 minutes but I hardly get any views. I have about 50 subscribers and am thankful for them. Thank you for your tips on this subject.
What’s ur tip for someone wants to start a RUclips channel showing his country, sorta a travel show. Like what and where u can do and visit. Hope u got my question
If you’re still looking for a microphone to sit on your camera, you should get the Rode VideoMicro microphone! It’s the one that Alisha Marie uses. I also bought it for my M50 and I LOVE it! I used it for a podcast assignment for one of my classes and the sound quality was AMAZING 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Aside from all the content and editing the effects you have for your videos... I noticed that you nail the COLOUR grading in your edits... your whites are pristine white... my house is painted white as well ... I hope that I can get a similar effect. and you shoot mostly in daylight.
To get the best lighting, use Rembrandt lighting. It's called Rembrandt because the painter Rembrandt painted that lighting into all (if not, most) of his paintings
To summarize: - learn how to keep a evolving audiences attention. Live performers, particularly comedians (need to) learn this real fast. But it’s just as important for RUclips.
Such a good video I also just started a channel and I’m finding out it’s extremely hard to get views and grow your channel .. I’m stuck at 187 subscribers and I keep uploading videos but I feel I’m getting no where !! It’s rough !
I was stuck for a long time too! It took me a whole year to get 300 subscribers. Just trust in the process, keep putting out good content, do your research, and stick with it! The results will come!
I have been watching sales tax and VAT videos. It’s just PowerPoints but hell it retained me! I didn’t understand nothing they said 😂 so I had to watch them over and over again.
I would love to see more videos on ways to get more views on RUclips. I started again my RUclips on March 2019 and I don't get that many view. If I am lucky 17 views in one week. Is that normal?
This girl is combo of beauty and knowledge waoo
