Thank you for sharing these. Jack Hanna is the best. He always informed us about the endangerment. Several are on the extinction list today. By the time our grand children are adults these will be gone. Thank you Jack Hanna for teaching us.
Jack is the best, I agree. Unfortunately, your prediction about Jack and others being gone before the grand kids are grown is likely to happen sooner vs. later in Jack's case, as he is said to be suffering from Alzheimer's. And as my mom is in late-stage Alzheimer's, I only hope he is at least comfortable as my mom (mostly) is, as this horrible disease takes its toll on Jack. But when Jack was scheduled to be on Dave's show, it was almost "must-see TV" because of their great chemistry and funny moments. Love Jack, and I miss Dave on his show.
I had almost forgotten Jack and how funny his segments with Dave were. I love animals also. God bless him after all these years and may he and his family find peace. Prayers and love..Claire
48:15 First time a Pallas Cat (Manual) was ever on TV. This is one of the best things I’ve ever seen on Letterman. Jack Hanna is such a cool dude! Thanks for all the years of kick ass animals!!!
LOL, I always thought David Letterman was just teasing Jack Hanna when David would say, "Jack, are you sure you know what you're doing?! just to get a laugh from the audience! Both guys were hilarious, though, and the shows were extremely informative and fun!!! The animals owned those segments of the program though, LOL!
Jack is great, deceased now, such a great loss. But I always felt there was such a nervous tension between Letterman and Jack that it could transfer to the animals.
19:15 Jack says that there are about 4,000 tigers in the wild in India and that by 2015 they think they'll all be gone. It's 2023 and happy to say there are an estimated 3,000 tigers in the wild in India, up from the low of 1,400 in 2006.
Some of the best segments ever. I miss this point in time dearly. Broke my heard to read the other day that Jack apparently is dealing with "The Long Goodbye".
Dont know if you guys cares but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother during the lockdown =)
Hope you recovered from COVID w/o any lingering effects, Annie. Watching Jack and Dave was great fun, and their chemistry was as quirky as it was hilarious. Unfortunately, Jack's health is in serious decline, as he's suffering from advanced Alzheimer's (I know, as my mom is herself in the late stages of that horrible disease). A simple and principled man is what I'll remember most in Jack Hanna.
@@djquinn11 Do you mean Marlin Perkins, the American zoologist? He hosted Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. It was a wonderful, long running show that first aired in the 60s, when I was a kid.
What I love about this is that Dave isn't afraid to interact with these animals. That's such a tired bit these days. "Ahh, kitten scary!" Meanwhile, Dave is feeding 40 lb. birds that could "cut your guts open". 🤣
I'm not though the whole video yet but that Jarod Miller appearance was cool. I wonder if David Letterman was referring to Jarod's appearances on Conan's show when he said to Jarod "keep up the great work, I've heard nothing but great things".
Dave is super spontaneously funny but so is the animal trainer in his own way The Animals are exquisite- glad time is given to the exotic natural wildlife and not just celebrities etc
The Pallas cat is hard wired to be wild . You can't "tame " them. They are adorable beyond words. And they are DONE with humans. They KNOW what we are. No, Jack, they CAN'T be domesticated. Their brains don't work that way.
1:35:14 nice! Walden's Puddle got a shout-out from Jack Hanna on 9/24/2002! They're doing great work here in Nashville, TN. I'm super proud to say I have volunteered there. Good people.
hey thanks for the Jack Hannah , Art Donovan collection recent post, he was wondering to complete my collection could you post a best of the or all the NBC Bookmobiles, thanks in advance
Some people have wolves for Pets because they become a good Guard Dog and protection and they will stay by you're side forever and watch over you because my friend has a wolf..❤
This compilation of Jack and Dave helped cure my depression

all makes me think of the contemporaneous mac os x's which were named after big cats, like os x 10.0 cheetah and mac os x 10.1 puma
I love watching these videos! They're so interesting and enjoyable!
These are my favorite the nights Jack Hanna was on!!!!

Jack And Dave, what a chemistry!!! Thank you guys, you bring so much joy to so many people!!!🙂
Jack + Dave = A (surefire!) Comedy Duo! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Damn, they are funny!
😂 Jack is so unintentionally funny 😆 I loved watching them together.
Jack is hilarious! All my best to him and his family! 😊🥰

They are hilarious together
Dave stresses jack the fuck out 😂

i’m laughing so hard at dave’s smart ass remarks and when he bickers with jack LOL like he knows better
He often does!
This one is a real jewel to watch!
Jack is so careful and gentle with each and every animal. 💕 And they trust him.
I LOVE THESE THANKS DAVE THANKS JACK
I really enjoy jack hanna describing these fascinating animals, most of which I have never seen before.

An hour and fifty four minutes of zingers like this.
Count how many times Jack says "DAVE!"

Near the end they showed the statue of “Balto” in Central Park. I like that!!
The animals don't seem to like the loud noises. :-(
Yes, the little horse really jumped.

I love these. I just hate the occasions when Jack yelled at his staff.
He loves asking if they are marsupial lol
Actually the 9 banded Armadillo can have as many as 12 bands
Everyone teases Jack all the time. He isn't a quick thinker, he's just totally into animals.
The Pallas cat (Manul) are the best small cats.
Absolutely 💯 💯 💯

Tells that fact about dark spots under the eyes like it’s the first time we’ve heard it… every single time.
1:06:50
This is what you are looking for.
40:10 wouldve been a great opportunity for Dave to say "okay so when do the girls get here"
Why do they play the house of the rising sun?
Think about it. How do you know the song? Which band made it insanely well-known?
Pretty sure cuz Jack is from New Orleans.
Jack is from Knoxville, Tennessee.
I was wondering the same thing until I read Don Giller reply.
The Animals
Oops
The noise !!
I can't believe they actually brought a Cassuary out on stage. Those things are dangerous.
Didn’t tell us the name of the fennec fox

Why would you put the worldwide pants logo in the middle of the screen ????? SMH
I didn’t. Worldwide Pants did. SMH, too.
Anyone remember His intro Music on the band??
The Animals’ debut hit, “House of the arising Sun.”
WooHoo...fun song. cheers mate !@@dongiller
The king cheetah are awesome
bird has fascinator on his head
Why did they always play house of the rising sun when he came on
Think about it. Which group made the song insanely popular in 1964?
@dongiller ah the animals duh ok
There it is. :)

And those are what? Radials? Lol!
"Whisper to a horse?"
I hope thats organic ground beef --- the animals can tell the quality of the meat.
