A History of the Steadicam

A brief history of the steadicam, what it is, the context surrounding its creation, significant examples of the steadicam in use and an evaluation of the device's impact on screen storytelling.
Unfortunately the upload has some pixels that are whack, but that's the fault of the export and I couldn't find a way to fix it.
For those of you wondering I used footage from Moonlight (2016), Magnolia (1999), Impossible Shots (1974), Carlito's Way (1993), Avengers: Endgame (2019), Bound for Glory (1976), Rocky (1976), Marathon Man (1976), Say Something (2018), La La Land (2016), The Shining (1980), Kill Bill Vol. 1 (2003), Hugo (2011), Raging Bull (1980), Russian Ark (2002), Office Space (1999), Boogie Nights (1997), GoodFellas (1990), 1917 (2019), Atonement (2007), The Terminal (2004), Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018) and The Revenant (2015).
Besides the audio tracks from those various above excerpts I used A Town With An Ocean View from Kiki's Delivery Service (1989).
