R.I.P. Seamus I am 81 years old and I still can not make sense of life I keep trying
The meaning is there, waiting for you Thomas. It's in small things. A draught of air. A voice in the street.
Hope you are still trying to make sense of it!
I am not trying to be clever Thomas; i am only 53 but im sure that life makes no sense at all. I'm totally sure of that.

I agree with him about the 'I' and the 'We" I found the same In the Netherlands when I moved from Ireland. Seamus you meant so much to us all. Rest.
A great sense of loss, grief. What a wholly likeable, modest man. Ireland's greatest poet ever .
RIP Seamus I met him once, he came to Northampton Derngate with other poets and even answered two of my questions, great man
Give meaning to life is the best foundation for good future. Thanks for wonderful thoughts and working lives dear Seamus Heany. R.I.P.
A wonderful wordsmith. I'll greatly miss him.
I've been listening to this again and again. Great! And what a great man and poet.
I feel a deep sadness at his passing. But we have his words.
Today Ireland lost one of its greatest sons, Seamus Heaney will be hugely missed
It's striking just how lucid he is, even as an old man, he isn't wishy-washy or pretentious, he's clear in thought and word.
He was only in his 70s here, hardly old.
Sad, a lovely man.
Heaney my literary favorite ♥️🍀👍
Ciao dear Seamus....fly high!

This day and age he wasn't that old; younger than Jack Nicholson, Michael Caine etc. RIP.

making sense of life...... im confused ?
Some say that poetry, like opera, is a hoax. They don't know the meaning of beauty.

Some people say they're Napoleon Bonaparte as well.

What those Neandethal Unionists don't realise is that they're Irish.
