      @@paulsmodelshed well you did a perfect job. I love these detailed instructional videos because they are so much more helpful than the manual. Nice of you to share. Keep up the good work 🥇

      @Paul's model shed yeh they were supposed to be out last month but obviously got delayed....it's a bit annoying they advertise something that's not yet available....grrr!!

    Looks great!! Where that hole is for alll the wires to pass thru could you not drill it bigger?

    • @paulsmodelshed
      @paulsmodelshed  2 года назад

      Thanks Harold, its in the main beam and I would have ideally extended it before I had legs on the frame so I could have drilled into it whilst it was on its side. Its ok just a bit of a pain. If you haven' built it yet it would be an easy fix.

      @Paul's model shed what i did was cut a piece out of the base plate so the wires weren't under any tension, as it won't be seen; it didn't seem to matter

    Have you any idea on how to quiet down those lift actuators? Disassemble and grease?

    • @paulsmodelshed
      @paulsmodelshed  2 года назад

      It might quieten it a little but I think its mostly down to motor speed and all the gearing. When I disassembled the motor om a leg it had plenty of grease but still noisy as hell.

    ref m3 m4 wires, which is what i got wrong. Hopefully, I haven't damaged my circuit board.....hey ho

    • @paulsmodelshed
      @paulsmodelshed  2 года назад

      I'm still trying to understand what is going on with that slip ring as both elevation motors should be the same, so why one has three wires and the other two I don't know. The extra wire must be a permanent plus or minus connection to cause the missiles to raise up without getting a signal from the transmitter. It's all very strange.

    • @peterbonney8301
      @peterbonney8301 2 года назад

      @Paul's model shed the one with two wires connecting to m3 is a power supply to the two motors that control the launcher the one with 4 wires which connecting to m3 takes the power TO the launcher and then to the transmitter. those are the ones i mixed up, so instead of being controlled by the transmitter it had a constant power until it blew up the regulator. at least that's how it appears.....

    • @paulsmodelshed
      @paulsmodelshed  2 года назад

      Ok not sure about the power to the transmitter bit but whatever it is it’s a crazy thing to have to spot those tiny wires when logic dictates that each one would be attached to a single actuator. Hopefully others will see this and not fall into the trap. Thanks Pete.

    • @paulsmodelshed
      @paulsmodelshed  2 года назад

      Oh and the two wire one goes to M4 not M3.
