hi Susie, with the calligraphy pen, you wanna dip the nib a bit further into the ink until it's halfway pass the tip of the reservoir(the holo part). this way the ink flows more smoothly
yes :) i use dip pens to draw and that's how we were taught as students to use them. But I imagine drawing on nails are very different than drawing on papers, so your method probably works just fine on nails!
The chrome heart with the white calligraphy over it reminds me of a locket necklace! If you did something like this in gold, like put the gold chrome over the heart calligraphy lines, it would look just like a locket necklace!

I used to paint my whole nail but i learned that you are not supposed to paint your cuticle, so far that is the only thing that i have learned, and how to apply acrylic... sort of, I'm still learning.

I wish there was people like you who do my nails like this! most of the nail places around here just do basic nail Polish and nothing else or those premade designed ones with no 3D prints.
