I was actually at my breaking point when I first read these novels. So coming back to these song sort of like a time capsule to me. I didn't think I was going to make it. I'd like to say Higu made things better but that would be a lie. By the time I was done I was still in the same situation I started in... arguably it got a thousand times worse. But here I am today, still moving. I am out of that situation onto new hardships no doubt. All I can say is I am glad I am alive.
hey, I hope your doing good nowadays. I haven't read the novels but I've heard this song in particular so many times. It makes me emotional every time I do end up listening to it. I don't have much time to spend on reading visual novels but I do hope one day I get to bc if the music is this emotional, then the story has got to be just as much. Cheers
@@okluminous566 I am doing just fine. If you don't have time for the VNs I hear the Manga is pretty faithful. Though you wont be getting this awesome ost.
Listening to this as the bus I’m on is currently departing Shirakawa-gō, the village that served as inspiration for Hinamizawa, and I have to hold back tears. There is no place like this, every Higurashi fan should make this pilgrimage in their lives. The sight will be burned into your mind and is guaranteed to stay with you. It’s a magnificent town and walking around, exploring and soaking in the effort people put in into preserving this piece of history was unlike anything else. Also, please do yourself a favor and walk around Shirakawa-gō at night if you get the chance. No matter how many stars you think you have seen in your life, it will not have been enough. ❤
One of the most bittersweet moments I've ever experienced in media. Passione finally delivered us a beautifully animated scene with the most beautiful musical piece in the original game... but I just couldn't enjoy it with how that trainwreck of a story was not only terrible, but made me hate Satoko and Rika. I know they were trying to draw a connection to Umineko, but they really didn't have to do that. Rika and Satoko in the OG story were such wonderful characters. To ruin them, the follow with You at the end felt like a slap in the face, despite how beautiful it was.

Where are you right now? What are you doing? Are you up there, in the endless sky? What are you doing? Are you up there, in the endless sky? Will you smile for me like you always did before? That's all I want to ask you...
The randomizer had this as one of the songs, it wasn't the corruptions doing it. Earlier in the same stream, the Starman music was replaced by U.N. Owen Was Her?, which Vinny *did* recognize.
Hands down the best ost in higurashi

Flashbacks to Vinny's Mario Bros Randomizer Corruption. The music in-game corrupted into this exact melody somehow
it would take astronomical odds to corrupt into it. it was just included in the romhack Vinny used to corrupt.
