I was found as a baby in a trailer in 1992...seperated from my family forever, adopted in 93...never stopped wondering what life would have been like if that hurricane didnt hit

I was 9 years old at that time. I remember my mom and grandma saying it's a hurricane 🌀 coming our way!!! I was saying to myself like "What's a hurricane?" The name it self sounded frightening to me as a kid, as if the world was coming to an end or something.

I was 14, in 7th grade. Slept through it in Pembroke Pines. Everyone moved from Miami to West Pines after the Hurricane, killed the race track and Sportatorium.

      Race track?
Also, I’m pretty sure the Sportatorium was going to get blown down sometime because of how crappy it was after the mid-80s.

@@andrelavandero3041 Yes, the quarter mile dragstrip that was on pines blvd right before the first Silverlakes entrance. They had races every Saturday night until the Silverlakes residents complained. Why'd you move next to a racetrack??? Citizens won, track went bye bye.

I was in a 2 year old Lennar Home and the entire second floor blew away with me in the half bath under the stairs. A six hour freight train over my head.

my momma hid me in a closet while my grandpa protected our home with a shotgun against the looters. I was fed by the national guard. My grandpa did things he can't forget.
