- Rear door speaker upgrade on a 3BG Volkswagen B5.5 Passat. I will show step by step, on how to remove the OEM/Stock speakers and install the upgraded speakers. I will also make custom ring spacers to accommodate the new upgraded speakers. This should be applicable on the VW Passat's from these years 2001-2005.

Sweet video man, really different to how most would go about it with those vampire connectors :D The only thing id say is make sure you seal with weather foam tape around the back of the speaker to spacer and then spacer to door sheet metal for the best sound :D (it stops sound waves mixing)

is that stock leather door arm trim?
I noticed you didn't put silicone sealant between the door and the speaker/spacer, that's a big mistake, my car leaked tons of water through the speaker and flooded the interior, and i had to pull all the seats and lift the carpet and dry it out and reseal the speaker.
Water is not supposed to leak from between the door and the spacer. If water is leaking from there, you got a different problem. FYI, mine never leak water from that area, and it's been over a year since I did the upgrade.

Hi , how do you fix the rear speakers have 80% less than the front speakers on Vw ? Do you know? Thanks
Less volume I mean, by default they are set fraction of the volume at the rear , missed typing sorry ,
