Your Scots accent was really good, why better than you probably think. This tune is a bit beyond my skill set at the moment, but it's still lovely to hear you play.
I listened to this song today on TV for the first time (miracles of the lockdown..). And as soon as it ended I thought: "Will 'Teacher' have it...?" And you never fail me! ;)
Hi, first of all thank you so much for your tutorials, I loved them so much. I ordered my first tin whistle yesterday and I have been watching your videos for two days. I want to ask if it’s possible you also play some of the Tinkerbell’s musics, especially from the first movie🌿 I couldn’t find anywhere. Thank you♥️
I was waiting for this one. Thank you!!!
Such a nice fingering and sound mixing. I really enjoyed the equalization of the sounds. Congratulations!
It is yes 😊 thank you ❤️
My kids love this movie and its music. They like Scottish music that isn't about drinking, so this one is good. My cat, however, has a different opinion of my whistling.
Oh dear, poor kitty. Maybe a lower key whistle might help? ;) it's a GREAT excuse to buy one. lol.
I play low D (with the piper's grip I learned from you). I think his "mrowling" adds a nice accompaniment!
Yesss! So happy!! Thank you once again!😍😄
Love the accents! Fun video, and I like that you played the songs two different ways. Keep up the accents!
My girls will be so excited, thank you. they are having friends over tonight, I’ll have to play for them.
Great, great, beautiful. It's the right song for me. In the moment I can not go, but I can play my whistle and fly. Thank you so, so much.
Greetings from germany🦅🦅
I love your all your videos Stephanie!! Your videos are so pretty and cheerful!!Thanks a lot!!!!
We've been waiting for this one so I'm sharing to my FB. The Mighty Shamrogue Whistlers are going to love this video and especially the very end because when we drop whistle we always say "a whistle on the floor is a whistle no more." Any Julie Fowlis flute or whistle music is always loved. Perky as usual CutiePie! Love it! Be well.
This song was awesome! But now in tin whistle it spectacular!
Thanks for the amazing work, you perform the tunes with love
Thank you!
Como siempre me sorprende tu habilidad y armonía 😍 desde Chile saludos 🎈
Lovely and cheery as always, and so is the beautiful ballad you whistled. I shared this on my FB page! Blessings Sweet Lass💐✨🙏😍
Excelente video, saludos desde Mexico 🇲🇽👏

Thank very much for everything you do
That accent is AMAZING!!!!
Haha :D
love the love spoon you got there
I love this song
Good Job with the Freestyle.
It looks like your whistle took "touch the sky" a bit too literally at the end :D
Bad jokes aside, awesome song and beautiful playing!
Love this song!
Thanks for this one ! I would love your version of "Give me your hand". 😇
Lovely tune
Nicely played, I like whistle cam juxtaposed with the tab score. PS: I can't believe someone down voted this!?
Martin Heermance Right?? I feel like you should be required to comment when you downvote a video so we can tell them why they’re wrong
Very Brave indeed!
Thanks a Lot , you're great
Yeees! Lovely as always! Thank you for this!
Thank you! :)
Hahahaha that ending was awesome..and your not the only one whose done that lol

Loving the hair :)
I don't put adverts on my videos... Or I should say I don't get any money from the adverts that the copyright holder puts on... but I thought you can do "revenue sharing" If it's you performing that third party song?? Or do I have it wrong.
(or is it because you are useing the original soundtrack?)
Sometimes, but I don't get the choice to share revenue, it's the agency that gets to decide whether they'll allow any of the ad revenue to come to me or not - in most cases I don't get anything (even for tunes where I don't USE the soundtrack - sometimes just playing the tune unaccompanied on the whistle is enough to cut the revenue entirely). For this particular video I can't monetise at all.
@@CutiepieTinWhistle Ok, odd. RUclips has set my channel so that I could monetise (but I don't, long story) but every one of them seems to show, or say that I could revenue share. if I monetised that video. I think they make it up as they go.
My version of "The Skye Boat Song" got a claim on it... the song is like 140 years old, how can someone claim copyrights to it... I'm fighting that one.
I think they make it up too :D haha. Though I guess maybe new rules and regulations coming in with the outcome of Article 13 before long! :(
@@CutiepieTinWhistle Article 13, sort of makes me laugh.... if they block my videos in the EU because of copyright... I don't know about you, but the hole of the EU is less than 10% of my viewers... and "I think" that the CPM will go up... so it will be the same :| maybe. says a guy who has never seen a CPM :D
Bring on the haggis! :D
Sounds amazing!!! I just struggle to practice because it's such a loud instrument and I annoy my family XD

Love it!!!! I’d love to see you do Peter Pan’s Flute theme from the Disney animated Peter Pan. :D
Send me a link, I'll check it out :)

This is beautiful..!❤
Could u please try the Chinese "wuji" song by xian Zhen and Wang yibo?..
😊
Sorry...its xiao zhen*
Please please do a version of "I'll fly for you" from Carnival Row!
💙💙💙💙💙💙
I'd like your advice, Which do you prefer, a Feadog pro in nickel or a Feadog in brass ?
In C or in D , to sound
" lower" ?
I was thinking, regarding what you wrote at the start of the video about monetizing videos. I understand that there is a way to monetize a video of a cover song if you upload through We Are The Hits (of course, they take a percentage but still). Have you considered working with them? Of course, the backing track would also need to be custom made, unless someone else has made a backing track different from the original that can be used freely. Right now I'm working with my teacher to make backing tracks in Audacity for various songs, we add violins using his electronic keyboard, then we add bass or piano. It turns out quite nicely. I also found a violin teacher who offers backing tracks for many popular songs and she told me they can be used any way I like.
Sounds interesting 😊 Maybe something I could pursue in future, but unfortunately while I still have a full time job it's not something i'd have time for. I think i'd likely need to post fewer videos too, if each video was to have it's own custom backing track made too! Twice a week would probably be a few videos too many!
@@CutiepieTinWhistle Perhaps we could exchange info about freely usable backing tracks. It can be quite time consuming to make them unless you know exactly what you're doing (or the person helping you with the keyboards). Someone who can play the piano really well and knows what tones work well together can do it in 15 minutes :)
Not gonna lie, I got about 20s into the video before I liked and subscribed.
Your Scottish accent is much better than mine lol. Next time I'd love to hear your Canadian accent! :D
Oh gosh I've never even tried 🤣 I do a lot of voice over with as my profession, so I use the Scottish accent fairly regularly, it just wouldn't come out at all today 🤣🤣
your scottish is amazing hehe
Is the E tin whistle and the D tin whistle the same when you're playing it or are they different
I'm only playing a D whistle in this tutorial. A whistle in the key of D plays the notes D E F# G A B C# whereas an E whistle would play a different selection of notes.

I like it ! Is that a Tony Dixon Bras traditional D whistle?
Actually, I custom made this whistle. A few times a year I take pre-orders for these brass whistles in addition to my polymer line. I have a couple spots open on the Spring pre-order I'm doing through etsy, here's a link: etsy.me/2vGmZGx
Is it possible to play i will always love on a thin whistle and wich one do you advice?
Maybe c major thin whistle?
CutiePie I know this is too short of a notice for a tutorial, maybe some other time. I'm sure Mother's Day is celebrated globally so I wanted to share. Mother's Day here in USA is May 12th, 2019. I still quite understand what your supposed to do when you have the same notes after each other (like the in the very beginning on the song)
This should help:
ruclips.net/video/qXuxzKfuEaQ/видео.html
Iv made a D low whistle, finished it today spending hours tuning it but cannot for the life of me hold notes properly. Jump in the deep end to quickly. Going to make a d whistle next for better reach for notes. Iv played guitar for years and can see a note written and can just got to it on the fretboard without looking. Does the same happen on whistle. Do you see a note and just go to it? If that makes any sense.
Well it was worth a shot! 😊 I can hear a note, and know where it is on the whistle...but yes, if I see a note I know where it is on the whistle too, on a D whistle anyway 🤣 not so much in other keys.
My whistle don't go that high loll
Edit: I figured out how to do it!
can you make a tutorial for pirates of the caribien
I have one here, but with ABC notation: ruclips.net/video/6Yj91s1xBQc/видео.html
Lol. I ordered my first kilt a few hours ago. You’ll pass as a Scot long before me, even if I’m seen in my kilt.
Здравствуйте! Сыграйте пожалуйста музыку из мультфильма принцесса мононоке)
Iffen not Scottish .. perhaps some awesome Welsh ?
I don't speak any Welsh unfortunately 🤣 though I do know the National Anthem 😊
The song in the background really distracts me
Not a bad attempt at the Scottish accent, I've heard worse hahaha. Actually, i think you were too easy to understand...when i talk...people often ask me to repeat what I'm saying..haha.
I'll try harder 🤣 aww, that's the beauty of it! To be fair, most people can't understand the Welsh accent either, I have to tone it right down for videos 😂
@@CutiepieTinWhistle i was trying to work out your accent!! I almost thought I could hear a hint of Australian!! I love Wales, beautiful place..I'm sure it rains there almost as much as Scotland....like going home!! Haha. Have you been to Scotland on your travels? 😍
@@celticdistortion just twice, but I'm sure I'll be back at some point, loved every minute! 😊 Ha, don't worry, even the Welsh are confused by my Welsh accent. I work in voice over so it's heading towards the neutral range - unplaceable 😜 or at least that's the impossible accent people ask for 🙈
@@CutiepieTinWhistle Fantastic, i hope you got some nice weather when you were there..haha. you definitely need to return and explore the mountains and castles!! I've not been home in 3 years, kind of miss trooping round the hills!!! But then i don't miss the cold..but hey, being away has also inspired a new wave of musical relativity..haha. I'm currently out in Central America..nice and warm and plenty fresh coffee..so I'm happy!! 😜.
Voice over, that's cool! Always fancied a bit of that myself..always had fun experimenting with different accents and voices!! What would you say is the most challenging accent? I recon the South African is tough...it's like a mix of Australian, African and English all in one!!! 😛
Great scottish accent
