These are student athletes . They aren't bound by contracts as paid players. They are allowed to profit off their name finally , but it doesn't give the school control over them. Most times, a 3rd party collective is paying them anyway.
I love to see the young guys ball,so we can see how they are coming along,plus making them hungry to play in a better bowl game..I think Nico will lead in a totally different way. His family and his spiritual journey are most important..I believe he can uplift a lot players to get the most out of them..Let's go,sad it's almost over for this season..
Give us fans something to be excited about and let him air it out like he did Joe Milton last year. On plays that they obviously practice multiple multiple times for Joe to get fans excited last year. If they struggle and I see West in East Coast pass plays all game behind the line of scrimmage and Nikko barely gets any playing time I know that Joe Milton is more important than this University in the future.
Yea bowl games are still important in my opinion because it does seem to help with momentum for the following year and you get the extra practice days.... and having the opportunity to still get to 9 wins on a "down year" is pretty good as well IMO... Joe should start the game but Nico SHOULD get some meaningful snaps in the first half
Listen at this point whether Joe balls out or not. Still put Nico in this is our future time to pass the torch. I’m grateful that Joe lead this team but it’s time. He needs to work on getting ready for the NFL combine and his poise of the game. We need to improve as a balance football team. Offense needs to give the defense a break.
And show that they can be the offense from the previous two years. I don't want us to start struggling on purpose and we see east to west coast pass plays all game for Joe Milton behind the line of scrimmage and it drags out like it did against Austin peay

Yes but Joe still doesn't see the open recievers whenever they are open!!!! He had a clear touchdown on a play against georgia but hit someone else for a 7 yard gain... Although I do agree that the wide receiver position hasn't been as good this year obviously we still have capable receivers Joe just doesn't see them most of the time and if his first guy isn't open he rarely finds someone through his progression... I've seen multiple plays where he had a tight end or running back wide open but he just never saw them
It's Vandy not a big deal if they win. I guess we will think we are the best if we beat Vandy. I hope the Vols can pull it out but it means nothing. It just shows where this program is right now. We can beat Vandy. We cannot beat Bama, Florida, Georgia, MO. pretty dismal season and a lot of questionable coaching and frankly players just giving up at times.

Players sitting out bowl games maybe could be addressed in the NIL contract ? If said Player sits out, they incur monetary penalties.
