I was a bartender at Expo a disco bar in Memphis. Rick was our DJ at the club. I remember him doing Disco Duck with a puppet show. I use to work at Whitehaven tire and Alignment at the corner of Winchester and Elvis Presley Blvd. The morning Elvis died we found out from an ambulance crew returning from his house. So we knew before it was announced to the public over an hour later. I have pictures of his funeral to Bellevue cemetery where someone tried to steal the body from the Tomb. He was then moved back to Graceland. Ann Margaret is in one of the limo pictures. I also worked on his car a stutz bearcat built in California on a Pontiac chassis. I want to say Rick Dees was one of the nicest people I ever met and had the good fortune to work with!

From the 90s to early 2000s the greatest program i looked forward to every Sunday was Rick Dees Weekly top 40 here in Fiji. Thank you so much Rick for the great memories.
