I just finish watching CLOY with my wife and we both agree that Gu Seung-Jun and Seo Dan's love story was way more interesting towards the end over Ri Jung Hyuk and Yoon Se-ri. Both these characters had the toughest life and both these characters helped out Ri and Se-Ri without them the two main leads would not have gotten the ending they did. They risked everything for other people. While Ri and Se-ri were selfish and only cared about their own needs and wants. Also I'm a believer that GU Seung-Jun can still be alive. It is never mentioned once that he died or is dead. None of the characters say he is dead. Seo Dan just says "hes gone far away and will never come back" in this scene why does she need to lie to Captain Ri about Gu Seung-Jun death? There is no reason to. My guess if they do get to make a season 2. Dan knows Seung-jun is still alive and escaped to Russia to avoid being caught by the North Koreans. Remember he is still a wanted man so Season 2 will dig deeper into their love story. Anyways I may be part of the few but I'm gonna put it here. I'm building an army GU SEUNG-JUN + SEO DAN > Captain Ri + Yoon Se-ri! I'm on Team Gu Seung-Jun+Seo Dan!

I normally don't cry when I watch sad movies, series or drama, but damn...I just couldn't hold my tears back. I was sooo sad and devastated, I still can't get over it. They were perfect for each other. For me the saddest scene was, when Dan found his blue jacket again and her mother was standing behind her and watched her cry. She didn't know how to help her.

I stopped when he died. Needed a lot of time to get to back to the end of the series after the shock. I cared more for this couple. The main leads were really good but these people deserved more 😕 I wish they'd showed Seo Dan's perspective too...she had to go through soo much!! This guy was such a gem ❤️ so sad... didn't shed one teardrop for the leads but cried an ocean for Dan and him 😔

Sometimes we lose our other half, but those left behind have to find the will to carry on and form a life where they can be happy until they meet their loved one again. While it may feel ruined at a glance, it's not the end of their story as she will carry him with her everywhere she goes; and Dan carrying on strongly sends a good message to be strong in the face of disaster.
Like everyone else in the comments, I'm here because I can't move on from how cruel their ending was. Yes, he's a conman, but he just wanted to avenge his father's legacy. I cried the whole night after watching the finale not because of how beautiful the ending was, but because I can't really appreciate the main couple's reunion, knowing that these two had to suffer & lose each other. They deserved as much happiness as Seri & Junghyeok.

I’ve been a total fan of kim jung Hyun since crash landing on you. His other roles seem to be more comedic, which he is fabulous at, but I do really like his character in this drama.
I loved this drama from the very beginning as the two couple was going as I expected but at the end Gu Seung Jun sacrifice himself for the girl he loves .It was the most heartbreaking moment and I couldn't stop my tears .But I think they deserve a happy ending like the main couple. I was watching Mr . Queen now but I keep remembering Jung Hyun role as Albert Gu in this series. I cried when I watched him die and my heart still hurts after watching this. They are one of the reasons why CLOY is a good series.

i genuinely religiously watch this video because of how damn tragic their love story is. like, the pain i experience is unexplainable and it just hurts so much. but i go through it over and over again to try to pretend like it ended differently. i know it wouldn’t have been realistic if he survived, but it makes me sad how he was her last love. their story was just so beautiful and ended before they could really begin. so so tragic, i can’t help to cry. this video is so well done, my fav video of this couple
it's interesting how the kept their plotline open. it's heavily implied he died, but it's never mentioned explicitly. i wonder if they did it for a potential sequel - which i think it's generally a really bad idea since it can ruin the original first season, but in this case i feel like there is some potential. Dan did not get her happy ending, and i'm not saying she's miserable, she seemed to be doing fine on her own but I do think it's an unfair ending for her. She gave up on Jeong-hyeok and finally found someone who appreciated her instead of blatantly ignoring her like her fiancé, and what she got for it is Seung-jun's death. And at the end of the series she promised to get revenge for him - something he told her not to do earlier because it never gives you the closure you want. I can imagine a sequel with Dan in the focus, with possibly Seung-jun being alive and Se-ri and Jeong-hyeok in the background. Dan could have her own journey because she was in interesting character and I think it would make an intriguing plot to see how she copes with Seung-jun's dearth - i'm not even sure we got to know how her revenge plans went down. Though, I gotta admit, part of me liked that theirs is not your typical fairy-tale story and his death is pretty meaningful so I wouldn't bring him back just for a sequel, tbh i hate those kind of drama twists.

It's been 2days now, and i still can't shake off the tragic feeling. Was constantly skipping through the final episode, to see if Gu Seung survived, but sadly, he didn't, and it really breaks my heart till this day. I mean, i love the main couples, no doubt, but seo Dan and Gu, still remain my ULTIMATE FAVORITE.

The main was okay but I'm guilty of sometimes skipping scenes to see more of their story Like I still can't accept he died i watched till end hoping there was a scene where he was in a hospital or we woulf see him hppy with Dan. I couldn't even be happy for the happy ending for the others, i was mostly like "oh that's nice" but my heart for the drama died when he died They can't give me a relatable and enjoyable character and expect me to be okay with his death 😭😭 I had to stop watching it to cry for like 10 minutes and continue watching while silently crying. I seriously skipped most of the ending scenes to search for him and Dan. He was so happy with her and Dan had finally moved on with him, he wanted to change, their ending was just too unexpected and unnecessary for me. I've just finished the series and I couldn't agree more. I liked and cared about the lead couple until ep 8 ig but ever since they gave us more scenes for the second couple I just wanted to see more of their ship in every episode. I did skipped escenes too to find them at some point. Such a waste of talent that they were given so little screen time. The main characters became boring to me anf I kept watching because of the squad scenes too!! They all were amazing and cute and their meetings always made me laugh and cry🔥 And just as other cloy fans said, right after alberts death I took a long break to cry just for him but still hoped he would show up again. I skipped more scenes and didnt really cared or pay attention to what was going except for Dan's scenes and that one of her mom really broke my heart. I cried so hard. Im sorry but I would've prefered Albert to survive rather than Seri.

They can't give me a relatable and enjoyable character and expect me to be okay with his death 😭😭 I had to stop watching it to cry for like 10 minutes and continue watching while silently crying. I seriously skipped most of the ending scenes to search for him and Dan. He was so happy with her and Dan had finally moved on with him, he wanted to change, their ending was just too unexpected and unnecessary for me. I just wanted a happy ending for my favourite couple but it was too much to ask, i guess.

I've just finished the series and I couldn't agree more. I liked and cared about the lead couple until ep 8 ig but ever since they gave us more scenes for the second couple I just wanted to see more of their ship in every episode. I did skipped escenes too to find them at some point. Such a waste of talent that they were given so little screen time. The main characters became boring to me anf I kept watching because of the squad scenes too!! They all were amazing and cute and their meetings always made me laugh and cry🔥
And just as other cloy fans said, right after alberts death I took a long break to cry just for him but still hoped he would show up again. I skipped more scenes and didnt really cared or pay attention to what was going except for Dan's scenes and that one of her mom really broke my heart. I cried so hard. Im sorry but I would've prefered Albert to survive rather than Seri.

Can we all start a petition to have CLOY Season 2 and they are the lead? I mean who knows if Seung really died? Seo Dan just said that he went somewhere far, we never did see any funeral rites or something. Maybe he just went away to cool things down from SoKor and NoKor since he is basically wanted in both countries. A semi plot twist would be he is actually in Russia where Seo Dan performs also every once in a while :(
