hm, not sure i like that design actually! There's a couple of things I see wrong with it; 1) the shock ball will be rubbing on the threads, possibly deforming them either the threads or the ball itself, and 2) you loose a lot of strength in a bolt if the thread is undergoing stresses, which is why bolts have shanks. If you think about it, a thread is all sharp corners, the perfect place for stress cracks to form.
That is SWEET!! I'm on the A-Main website all the time, I'm surprised I've never seen it before. I wonder if it's worth it to maybe put a drop of CA on the Stud going into the Arm... Just so it doesn't back out when you're in a hurry?
Well I think I'll have to order some of those. Been messing with shocks a lot on a set of RPM arms and they're getting a little loose. I think this would be a great upgrade.
that's great but my battles are with the freaking front shocks..once those A arms get busted up just a little, those Shock Eyelets are a pain to squeeze in between the A arms

Ive already ordered two set ! One for my dad and one for me.
Why would you install titanium hardware on the bottom of the chassis when that is exactly where you would want the weight?

Nice idea using a grub screw and a nut. Seems you got some sponsor giving you wings for this vid. ;o)
Definitely will provide longer life to the arm aswell as easier to access.
Rdrp has a nice titanium screw kit to for this too....
I need that for my B6 rear arms. Thats dialed.
Nice one! 👍🏻
