    What a tragic loss. My sons grew up watching Steve and we were all devastated when he passed. My heart still goes out to his family. It's beautiful that they have carried on his legacy.

    If this amazing Australian was still with us he would be doing so much for the animals and people affected by the bushfires. God bless him and His family. I'm getting nervous though just watching this when they are close to the water.

      I'm scared shitless whenever he goes in the water. Like, is this guy crazy?? He's gonna get himself killed! But that's what i love about steve. He's always able to take risks, even if his life is at stake.

      This is my second documentary I have watched and I can tell you thie man purely loved animals. His passion and selflessness commands respect. It's sad he died too early

    I loved Steve so much growing up as a kid, and still do today. Grew up on his incredibly inspiring work and TV shows since I was small... He even inspired me towards the career and college education I'm working towards today, becoming a Herpetologist myself... Thank you Steve. Fly high Crocodile Lover

      That’s amazing I seriously commend you I’ve always been interested in orangutans but never knew what field or how to pursue it (even though I went to college for automotive) I seriously commend you and hope you have a good career. I as well looked up to Steve Irwin and his show as a kid. Steve died when I was 8 my father died when I was 10. I know my dads up there trying to hang out with him all the time 😂

      @@anthonys5170 no Anthony - Steve was a bit of a maverick (which is wot made him unique) but he KNEW dangers of hovering over a Stingray... that tail is lethal! I dived off Oudekraal & Smitwinkel Bay in Cape Town and was warned of and so aware of dangers... eg. never walked on seabed - these creatures lie in wait under sand - always stayed clear of their tail - deadly spear - it's their defence mechanism...always felt safe amongst seaweed 'forests'... friendly seals were the most fun - had to surface once as cldn't stop laughing at their curiousness... mistook us for family in our black wetsuits... Sentient beings one and all... Steve wld be the last person to blame any creature for doing what it did naturally... watched a few "near misses" between Steve and dangerous creatures... with him laughing and admitting taking chances... what a wonderful legacy he's left in his lovely children & honey of a wife... great resurrection on the cards - not for nothing he influenced our lives like he did... R.I.P. great man...

    I don't know about others but I feel hollow after Mr. Irwin passed away. I do thank the makers of this channel as it does help fill the etched out void for a few moments and brings subtle peace to the happy memories. I thank Steve Irwin and his crew that always stuck it out. I for one miss Mr. Irwin.

      Yeah not really... what ended up happening to him should have been no surprise to anyone and almost happened to him sooooo many times before that moment (like the time he was trying to capture a croc and it snagged his hand and pulled him into the water, but luckily he managed to land feet first on top of the croc and it let go because if he had landed any other way it would have deathrolled with him) as they say “you can only play with fire so many times and for so long before you get burned”

    I first seen Steve on animal planet when I was about 8 or maybe 10 years old. I’ve seen every single episode so much I developed a slight accent. I’m 31 now and I miss him just as much as the day he left this world. The Irwin’s are amazing!

    That’s quite impressive from back in the day. Since the late Croc Hunter is no longer with us. I hope for some other Crocodile Documentaries to be uploaded. Especially the ones that featured Endangered True Crocodiles like The Orinoco Crocodile which is in need of attention to preserve.
