I have the exact same story. I couldn't stop singing the chorus so I finally decided to google it one day
Nicely done. I didn't knew this song until he was already gone and that's a shame, but his work still can be known and appreciated through time.

Love this song and I don't remember another cover as good as this one. Great voice, a lot of emotion in it.
I don't remember how many times I came here to listen this amazing voice, always came when I pass for alot of stress, but I never said thank u for make my angry turn into a little bird flying in a bluest sky...

What a magnificent voice you have. I like that you kept vocal simple and not to flowery (which I expect you are well capable of) which is in good keeping with the original. Seem to be a few chord changes missing which I was expecting.
