If someone wants to read the Bible in a fresh new way, I’d suggest to read it with the Enduring Word Commentary! It’s how I’ve read it for a couple years. It helps me so much!
Thanks, the first question had me thinking hard about the last 55 years. Unfortunately I should have disqualified myself over many different roles I was asked to do. My eyes are opened even though I'm half blind these days.
Pastor Dave, what is your opinion on churches who put Pastors in place by majority vote. Also what about a church that is ruled by a family with family members holding all leadership positions?
So what about John 20: 18, What would happen if a women is a leader in a church. GOD is GOD, and can do anything in a person's life. Who's to say Gid is not leading in a womens spirtual6 life.
Elders and leaders are not sitting the Pastor down for wrong doctrine They will sit them down for weight gain😮 Granted poor Eli would have benefited from such a sit down

We are most certainly not following the Holy Scriptures on choosing leaders for the ministry
