Christianity brought so much to Ireland. Salvation, first and foremost, but other things like writing. Things that the Celts didn't have and apparently modern Celtic pagans, whatever that means, need to relearn.

What good is a rotten root that only ends in sin and the denigration of a nation! We must ask Our Lord and Our lady to halt the return to paganism and return Ireland to the narrow road to Heaven. We with roots in the Catholic land of Saints and Scholars ask St. Patrick and St. Kevin to stop the attack of the devil and begin a return to order, which is a return to God. St. Patrick, Pray for us!

Can you please explain what is good about the "wicked & unholy night of Halloween entertainment"(Source Púcafestival.com) that was done in Trim, or the film Häxan shown in 2019 in Drogheda. "With vivid depictions of witch persecutions and medieval sorcery, Benjamin Christensen’s Häxan (The Witches) is a legendary silent horror. Once banned in the USA and unseen for decades, Häxan (dir: Benjamin Christensen, 1922) blends horror, documentary, animation and woodcuts to paint a lurid picture of witchcraft through the ages. Featuring the director himself as a disturbingly Grinch-like Devil, the film immerses us into a world of torture and superstition"

There's nothing wrong with celebrating your ancestors and their traditions and religions. You and the Irish people would be better served if you protested outside a Mosque or Synagogue.
