  • Marmur Fine is a lime-based plaster that gives a nice cloudy look. Marmur Fine venetian plaster lends itself to textured styles as it has a coarser aggregate throughout. ↓ LINKS TO PRODUCTS BELOW ↓

At about 4:30 you swapped the trowels, what is the waiting time between the second coat and rhe burnishing process?

The time between coats really depends on your environment. If I’m doing a full room and have time, I will usually let the first coat dry over night and come back and do the next coat another day.

Another awesome video! Started learning myself after watching your videos, hope you can help me I seem to be getting like chatter Marks in my first coat which some times shows though after my 2nd coat. Thanks!

Thanks! Glad the videos are helping you out! Usually when you're getting chatter marks it means you're not leaving enough plaster on the wall. Courser plasters tend to chatter easier from the trowel scraping on the courser aggregate. What I'd try to do is pull less plaster off the wall when applying your first coat. If you notice chatter when you are applying plaster, you can simply go back over it to fix it. If your plaster is dry, you could try to knock off the chatter before you apply the second coat. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi, what size of your trowel? Is it the large 280mmX140mm? Thanks

The X Trap Trowel is 240mm x 100mm. Personally I like the size. It feels comfortable.

Sorry! The sample plaster colors I received were super light. If I ever get more, I will ask for darker colors so it shows up better.
