Note that the MacGregor (27511) side of Cary is VERY different from the Preston (27513) side of Cary. If you are looking for easier access to Raleigh, larger lots with mature trees, most of the medical facilities including Cary's only hospital, and a much lower chance of having your car stolen, you should focus on the MacGregor side of town. If you are looking for more Southern Charm, many more of the local natives live in 27511 as well. I have lived in Cary for over 35 years and the two sides of town are as different as night and day.
Cary looks amazing and so gorgeous. I love that the homes have so many trees instead of just big barren grassy lawns. I can’t afford to buy here but can afford to rent so I’ll take it 😂 thank you for the great video, you guys are such a cute couple!
Love the video! Want to relocate from Chicago. Was considering St. Petersburg or Cary, but leaning towards Cary. Florida is too hot, plus I’m terrified of reptiles. I hear NC has a lot of copperhead snakes. What are my chances of running upon a copperhead in Cary?
Thanks for responding, I’ve been looking at homes on Trulia to get an idea. I see that 27513 is a very desirable neighborhood because there are only two listings, also looking at 511, 518, & 519. Does Cary have Cosco or Sam’s Club?
@@kevinmcdonald2286 Cary is a very desirable area! There is a Costco in Apex, right beside Cary. There’s no Sam’s Club to my knowledge. There is a BJs too.
I’ve lived in FL my whole life (33 years) and can confirm that it’s hot all year round. There are cool fronts in the winter but there’s never a long period of time when it’s below 80. I recently moved from Sarasota to north FL near the GA border but still too hot. I’m moving to Cary next year to escape the heat and swamps lol
That's awesome! Yeah, it's going to feel a little more commercialized but honestly, it's hard to go wrong in Cary. It's a great area! Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions!
I have a ton of questions for you. My family is looking to relocate by the end of the school year from Louisiana. I did a Google search on safety, diversity, housing cost, etc. Can I text you or call you?? My name is Tabitha
Hi Tabitha - my family and I are moving to the area from Louisiana (Lafayette) at the end of the school year, too! I stumbled upon this channel and find it so helpful. I thought it would be nice to know you're not the only soon-to-be Louisiana transplant moving this upcoming summer.

I like y’all’s channel. Do more local (nc native) based content. Everyone is moving here this will acclimate them so they know
Thanks so much for watching and thanks for the suggestion!

How about investment property rental around there ?
Lots of great areas to invest across the entire triangle!
Will you do a video on Holly Springs? 😊
Absolutely! We will add it to the list!

Thanks so much for watching! Copperheads are common in NC but your chance of running into run is really small! I wouldn’t let it worry you!

Looking to relocate from Vegas. Going to rent a house first. How is west Cary. Seems newer but maybe not the charm. Thanks

Another important thing for Cary. You need (plenty of) money to buy a home. 🙃
That’s very true! Cary has gotten very expensive! Thanks for watching and for adding your thoughts!
