And finally, he won his first title at the Indonesia Masters 2025 against Shi and Christie. I hope he can maintain his prime form until the All England and World tour
Awesome analysis! To me he’s one of the most skilful and graceful player on court which gives so much pleasure to watch. It’s almost like watching an exquisitely choreographed dance. On a good day, he can beat just about anyone. Because of his tremendous skills and defence, I sometimes feel that he is not aggressive enough. If he can up his smashes and follow up at the net immediately, he will be the most formidable opponent to beat.💪
I completely agree. Even though he's not always consistent in playing badminton, he won the World Championship at the age of 21 and earned a silver medal at the Olympics when he was just 22. That's truly impressive!
I was counting on Vitidsarn before the Olymplics to be the champion. His semifinal match with Lee Zii Jia was phenomenal & Textbook. He lost the final due to getting nervus against Axlesen.
No way he would have won that final against Axelsen, he was simply outplayed, no Chance even in his best version he couldn't beat Axelsen in this form. No way.
@ Bro, No one can question the ability of Victor. The only way to defeat victor at the time of peris 2024 was to get on his nerve. Before the finale, Kunlavut seemed calm and composed to destroy that rhythm of victor. But at last in the final match, Kunlavut himself got nervus by the enormity of the stage.🙂
He's the next chapter of the legend after his senior: May Ratchanok Intanon. While May's legend is the majority of her graces while playing and while not playing, One day in the near future Vitidsarn will supersede it with his grandeur.
Yeah Vittidsarn is the most potential as the reason you said and not everyone change the space like him as legends but this guy most of the time cant speed up to attack when he has the chance so he just focus on defense, maybe hes kinda chubby lol.
The biggest concern among Thai fans has been his weight and fitness. His technique is clearly among the best right now, but with the lack of athleticism, he won't be consistent enough in the world tour to reach no.1. He probably only cares about being in top 10, make money, and step up in big championships.
Vitidsarn is a very good all-around player but he seems to fatigue quite quickly in longer matches now. Peculiar, because his fitness was great in 2023. He's kind of let himself go since then.
He's doing the right thing, for me. Just like how LD had done during his heydays. He picked his moments, not to reveal too much of his actual game until the big tourneys roll along.
@ Lin Dan had a superb record in tour levels also rather than only olympics and world championships .. plus at the age of 23 Lin Dan was already superb at tour levels …compared to viditsarn who literally is not serious at tour levels performance
I feel like KLV intentionally focus just big events and then get all the money from his advertising and sponsor jobs and dont care about world ranking 😂
Kunvalut isn't inconsistent. As Axelsen said after winning gold in Paris, the current level of men's single is such that anyone can win a tournament. It's very tight if you look at the winners of major tournaments in 2024. So ask yourself for each player if they are consistent. 😊
@@KimGjerstad majority by shi yuqi and axelsen only ..that’s called consistency .. He can be numberone . But it wont be easy becos of his tight oppenents. Shi youki, anderson, victor., and some new young talented players.. And he should upgrade his smashing more harder.. Like shi youki axelson....
Momota is basically the textbook control-rally player archetype. He'll run you to the ground with his huge stamina & score points with pinpoint accuracy. But maybe, just maybe Vitidsarn's tricky deception could make a difference. Just like how Ginting did back in 2018.
@@ammarharith5512 nice observation man 👍. 2018 China open final was one hack of a match. But, after that match momota became very cautious against Ginting.
Vitidsarn's performance is so inconsistent, maybe i didn't know he was injured. Also, he may be the next number one but it will be because there is no good player left.
my only issue with him was that seemingly sad effort at the Paris Championships. it really seemed like he was just fine with silver and not finding a way to beat AX. any olympic medal is INSANE and all that but that kind of effort was just lame imo.
Bro, how can you come up with a plan on the spot to battle off Axelsen's devastating attack? You just can't. It's just not possible, I saw the final & it's just hopeless for Vitidsarn. 😅
@@jitendrabhadane2720 Alex usually loses to harder opponents, he did just beat vitidsarn and has also beaten quite a lot of amazing players at a very young age. CTC, SYQ, LZJ, Antonsen, Vitidsarn, Axelsen (technically) and LKY. He's a prime candidate for top 1 player. HZA is decent but he's not quite top 32 level yet, i'm sure he'll be a top player soon.
Hell naw. I'm a big fan of him, but he's fat and unfit. You can see he always shies away from playing a high pace physical game when it is necessary, like the Olympics final. Rallying won't allow you to beat someone like Axelsen. At that point you've gotta go all in attack to have a chance, but he couldn't because he wasn't physically fit enough, hence the one sided result. And the reason he got to the final in first place wasn't because he was playing amazing but because SYQ and LZJ choked really hard.
The funny thing is, his fitness was great in 2023 when he endured long match after long match and outlasted Kodai in the finals to win. He seems to have let himself go a bit since 2023 though, sadly.
Lanier has actually WON top tier tournaments. Hu is talented but he hasn’t shown up to the super 500+ on the world tour. Lanier went from intl challenge events to winning a 750 in less than a year.
And finally, he won his first title at the Indonesia Masters 2025 against Shi and Christie. I hope he can maintain his prime form until the All England and World tour
He definitely has the potential. I just don't think he really cares about ranking and only focuses on the really big tournaments like WC, OG or AE.
Agreed.
Yes, He always said in all interviews.

Extremely impressive! If Axelson wasn’t around, he would have his gold Olympic medal already. Hope he gets it one day. 🙏
Great video man. Appreciate the knowledge you provide and your humbleness❤❤😂
Can learn a lot from this channel. Thank you!!!❤️
never stop making videos 🙏
Ranking is just a number, I think top 10 players can always win against each other.

Can u make a video on
Who has the best
Footwork
Control
Smash
Footwork
Deception
He need a Kaboom slam dunk smash and he'll be unstoppable
Whoever will be the next World #1 has a lot of catching up to do with Shi Yu Qi winning both the World Tour Finals and the Malaysian Open.
He is good at everything except smash
Vitidsarn playing looks like Lin dan
nice vid
6:21、6:36 You said that twice. Was it a mistake ?
His idol is kento momota
What are the advantages of becoming world number 1?
阿昆是全能型球员
Max technique
Max skill
Max game IQ
Average fitness 😭
he just live a happy life 🤣
@ me too!🫃
wowww❤
I thought it would be Lanier
Pls make the video about taufik hidayat and why he dominated in such a young age
every one folds against axelson. the Olympic final was Vitidsarn vs Axelson and it was not even close

I think it will be anders antonsen,he's quite young, and has the best tactical game. But I don't want any world no 1 except Shi Yuqi.
why??? u dont like change in game ???
I would go for Alex Lanier

No... Too inconsistent

In Thailand we call his nickname View and then Kunlavut cuz Vitidsarn is his surname and no one use it to call someone here.
Kunlavut Vitidsarn will be the chuppiest world number one.
Yeah, he's a bit chubby for my liking. 😂
Bro is a body shamer fr 😂
He has a boring defensive gameplay..
Talented by lazy, no stamina la
Next #1 is clearly Antonsen who eats Vitisan for snacks.

23 years kunlavut 1 world champion 1 silver Olympic medel
