Robinson Crusoe (on the Claravox Centennial Theremin) ロビンソン・クルーソー (テルミン)

2024年の大河ドラマの『光る君へ』のメインテーマを聴いた第一印象はラフマニノフっぽいなあ、だったのですが、メロディはちょっと懐かしいあの曲＝Art Of Noise の「Robinson Crusoe」だ！と思ったので・・・そちらのほうをテルミンで弾いてみました。
似ているのは偶然ではいようで、大河の音楽を担当された冬野ユミさんのプロフィールに Art Of Noise に影響を受けたとあり、そうか、わざと持って来たんだ！とニヤリ✨ってところでしょうか。
この曲は Art Of Noise によるカヴァー(1989年)で有名になりましたが、元は1964年に作られて1965年にBBC版が放送されたテレビドラマ『The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe』のテーマ曲だそうです。
今回メインのテルミンは Claravox Centennial、バッキングは打ち込みで作り、ラフマニノフっぽさも加えてみました。
実は Etherwave も密かに参加、ジャングルっぽい鳴き声を担当しました、3:17 ←このあたりです。
では、しばし無人島に漂着してしまった気分に浸ってください🏝️
My first impression when I heard the main theme of the NHK(Japan Broadcasting Corporation)'s "Taiga" drama "Hikaru Kimi he" in 2024 was that it sounded like Rachmaninoff, but the melody was a bit nostalgic = "Robinson Crusoe" by Art Of Noise! So I tried to play that one on the theremin.
The similarity is not a coincidence. Yumi Tono, who was in charge of the music for NHK's "Taiga" Drama says in her profile that she was influenced by Art Of Noise, I guess she brought that one on purpose! I just grinned and said "So she did!"
This song became famous when Art Of Noise covered it in 1989, but it was originally the theme song for the TV drama "The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe," which was created in 1964 and broadcast as BBC version by BBC in 1965.
This time, I used Claravox Centennial for the main theremin, and made backing by programming, and in a short in-between part I added some "Rachmaninoff" flavor.
In fact, Etherwave also secretly participated in the project, and was in charge of the jungle birds-like sounds, around at 3:17
