You forgot the PTSD that gets in the head of an anchor when they hear Zipcaster noises. All you can do is run and pray they don't find you. That is the TRUE reason people use Zipcaster

Splatoon 3 seriously upped theyre games about making balanced, but useful but also extremely fun specials, and zip caster is like on the top of the list, this thing is the most fun ive ever had with a special, I main backliners but secretly i go out at night and play zip caster weapons because its just so fun to go anywhere instantly and cause a huge nuisance and jump out of there before they even realized that they're teammates just swept off the face of the planet. seriously, zip caster is one of my favorite specials and i cant wait for more zip caster weapons, hopefully they put it on the squiffer, can you imagine😍
I can’t tell how the zip caster with the clam ball is so relatable to me and the worst part is that I thought you couldn’t with the inkjet because you in some sort of air strike mechanism but I thought I could with zipcaster because you had free hands so I was like that’s fine I’m not carrying anything that’s preventing me. @@eaa1338 well the method of dropping or passing a clam ball would normally be just throwing it dd o it wouldn’t work unless if you die but in that case then, you might as well just super jump

They’re adding the Neo Splash back… and in the direct a Splash had Zipcaster- so it’s pretty safe to assume that… guess I’ll be becoming a Zipcaster main then when it come out!!! I’ve mained the Neo Splash since Splatoon 1, then in 2 and the Vanilla Splash is good, taking over the meta, but it’s just- not the same… (I’m still EXTREMELY salty about them getting rid of Bomb Rush/Launcher…) but it’s still my precious Neo Splash 😭
Honestly even if i charge gun gets a zipcaster, those weapons use too much ink for that to matter, grabbing unto a wall takes ink and at most maybe 3 shots can be fired before having to return i would guess so not a huge threat

I use my zipcaster for evil. Inking the very back of the enemy team's base. (And I feel the power clam moment. Done it myself.)
I play octobrush as my main (254 wins baby) and zipcaster can be unfortunate sometimes it's fun once you get used to it.

Some of the weapons like stamper are very awkward with zipcaster too but all of them can be pretty effective.
The power clam thing is literally the first thing I did with the Zip caster.
