As a blue and white collector and lover.. your Christmas decor really speaks to me. I incorporate old patina silver with mine year around. With white ironstone too. Love the idea of making the blue and white ornaments. They look lovely on the tree. I was looking at the fireplace view and thought if you switched the ginger jar on the hearth ... with the tall umbrella stand on the shelf... you could use birch logs in different sizes and some greenery in the umbrella stand for a vertical focal point. No criticism.. just a thought. My favorite was the opening green back door swag with the jingle bells and the unbelievable antique arched mirror on the kitchen wall. What a treasure! Merry Christmas!

We are pleased to have had you following along with our projects this year, Miss Shirley! Since we've been remodeling (and living in a construction zone to some extent) for the last 16 months, this break will be longer than usual. We will have our typical yearly planning sessions in January for this coming year's projects & we're already excited about those! I must say your comment to "film while you rest" had us laughing! I'm glad the videos seem so effortless. But (for example) this most recent video took 8 hours of editing. That doesn't include planning the projects, buying supplies, making the projects, or decorating the house for the tour... there's quite a bit that goes into making a video. Anyway, we're really looking forward to creating more English country style interior design content (and some new surprises) in 2024! We are pleased to have had you following along with our projects this year, Miss Shirley! Since we've been remodeling (and living in a construction zone to some extent) for the last 16 months, this break will be longer than usual. We will have our typical yearly planning sessions in January for this coming year's projects & we're already excited about those!
I must say your comment to "film while you rest" had us laughing! I'm glad the videos seem so effortless. But (for example) this most recent video took 8 hours of editing. That doesn't include planning the projects, buying supplies, making the projects, or decorating the house for the tour... there's quite a bit that goes into making a video.
Anyway, we're really looking forward to creating more English country style interior design content (and some new surprises) in 2024! May you and your family have a blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year! ✨️ 🎄

Oh, this is all simply charming, and darling… The progress you’ve made your home is unbelievable! In the kitchen could not be more, darling! One thing I wondered, are either of you allergic to real greens? I could see real greens scattered here and there in your home!especially Leland Cypress, which is very easy to care for inside the home!

I think my two favorites are the Christmas tree and the large mirror in the living room. I love the look of the decorated eggs hanging in the mirror and your DIY talent never ceases to amaze me ! There is no way I could decorate those white bulbs with a blue sharpie as beautifully as you did. I did well to have a hand in helping with the village.😅 I hope you and Matt have a great Christmas and a very happy New Year!🎄🎉
