same 🤣 I think I started to appreciate his character more from that simple second funny moment. For me, I knew he was a good and interesting character when he didn't listen to the bad councilman's orders at minute 10:30 of Season 1 Trespass (bc clones are supposed to obey but he didn't bcuz he knew it was wrong to). Coming from someone who 'just got into knowing star wars lor' binging watching the show and knowing that captain rex is so complex and lovable, i came into this show and franchise not knowing a clone trooper would be my favorite character. I'm obsessing over him just as much as when I found about Cal Kestis🤣

That, but in the beginning of the show. They really cut out his sarcasm, his snide etc. towards the end, and I don’t know why. Season 1 + 2 Rex would’ve executed Krell instead of watching his men get slaughtered left and right. But no, suddenly ge‘s a pansy

I feel like that Imperial officer in the elevator was a lot more chill than most would be and he took the clearly strange situation with a sense of humor rather than threatening to report them or something.

I thought it was quite intelligent to use Maul as a distraction so Rex and herself can escape it just also kinda backfired on them in the end
Still, he knows what Maul was going to do with those clones: kill them brutally. Sure, the clones were all controlled by their chip, but Rex still cares about them as his brothers.

I read that Dee Bradley Baker, at the beginning of Clone Wars, he would voice one character one day and the other the next. And now during the Bad Batch he could voice everyone having a 10 minute long conversation all in one go. That’s both impressive and worrisome for his vocal cords.
Me: Krell if you try to off Rex you'll have Anakin, Ahsoka, and quite possibly Obi-Wan as well as an antire legion of clones to answer to.
