DB reading is on an Logarithmic scale. Then come perceived loudness which is what you guys were hearing. A little more complex, but to over simplify 3-4db difference is a big difference in loudness even if it seems to be just a few points. For example, a 10 db reading difference would be about double the perceived loudness difference.

The Witt Machine is not quieter at the muzzle. It's designed to quiet at the ear or behind the muzzle. It's hearing safe and the 300 works better at 10 inch and below. Also, suppressors were designed to suppress the muzzle flash. Peace young Bro!

@@100RoundsTv titanium will eventually take on more wear , thats just it’s material being which leads to a lot of sparking from titanium cans after so many rounds. Light weight for sure but at the cost of longevity if we talking flash reduction & wear. 3D printing is definitely the new wave so no issue there with 3D printed cans, we actually need more on the market.

Its 139 db at the shooters ear. Mr guns and gear has a few videos on em. I have both dirty thirty and the bb223. The 223 feels like when your ears are full of water from swimming when you shoot without earpro, but not more then 3-5 rounds. The .30 with subsonic i can shoot all day. For the price is a decent K can.
@ for a k can and the price it works. The main job of a suppressor is to kill flash signature. I might make a video on the witt cans running full auto to show any of the flash. But either way they have low blow back compared to my gemtech abyss, no flash, and short. But my gemtech abyss is a lot quieter then the bb223. Overall id say you get what you pay for with firearms. Buy once cry once
i saw that 556 and the 45 can but cant do it with the stamps and nfa transfer just bought a bolt action and some other stuff... im broke one of the the biggest walls in 2A is pricing and not being able to try items or test items against other products. even seeing reviews and videos its hard to know if its right for you until you have it and have used it. I wish there was a range where you could rent suppressors, optics, other accessories to try on the range.
@ I would say yes but it’s all about you use case if you’re shooting a a DI gun yes less gas in your face if you’re shooting piston gun then no but with out a doubt the huxwrk will last longer because of how it’s made but what you get for 300 you can’t beat that

22:49 that huxwrx can has a break in period, my homeboy has the hurwrx ventum and that mfr is quite to be 223 like almost hearing safe. I’m thinking of getting the huxwrx flow but the round count is so low on it. My next choice is a can from the folks who make the can 100 rnd running for my spr, I need a k can.

Most important part of a suppressor especially in war is Flash suppression... if your not using it for that then defiantly sounds. Recoil reduction. And then Some add recoil.
I think the decibel reader was in the wrong settings. Y'all were reading in a constant type mode. There should be a peak setting that will spike up to about 135, then stay on the peak number until you reset the db reader for the next shot
Cool Video and comparison, there's also other suppressor options in the $500 range that do a decent job on 300 blk out, I have the YHM R9 and IMHO it does a pretty good job and didnt break the bank, you can check out my videos of the YHM and see what you think
Bro… your firearm is over sprung as well. The trajectory of your casings is at about 8 o’clock, whereas GHGs is spitting shells at the accurate angle. Are you shooting subsonic or supersonic? This will make a difference. Let me know. Love the content bro!!!!
I beg to differ on the reason of "necessity "..if your set up is for home defense and you want the quietest setup possible for your ears in your household and to keep panic amongst your neighbors at bay..then its necessary..not just an extra accessory..it actually serves a purpose

What is the meter rated for? It looks like you purchased a lower decibel device than what is needed to accurately read y'all's rifles. A 556 should be reading around 140db.
Definitely ghg 300, then dirty 30 then 223. But also the extra 700$ is the flow and sound and quality. Gun also might be louder than the suppressor, the mechanics bolt/sping so 🤷♂️ but to the ear not bad. Definitely will get a 30 dirty for a cheap build. Waiting on a LAHAR 30K
Yeah the price is good, i think they wer at 150/200 at some point, but as long as the ears don't hurt it's a win 🙌 but definitely do understand the 1k and wait 12month or more it's like might as well get another gun if the wait time is that long. Thats why went with the lahar 30k cause 500 is like okay can wait for it, and a 30 dirty you'll probably just forget till you get approved.
My thoughts on it is… if it’s for home defense because you just don’t want to blow your ears out if you wake up in the middle of the night the whit machine will do. Now if you doing some incognito type ish then yea you probably want to spend the extra $700.

You may have to calibrate the reader. Also you want to get the readings from two different places, at the action of the rifle and again at the shooters ear.
@ test it with 9mm suppressed with 150 grain syntech vs 300 blackout 220 grain. That would be a good comparison to help people make a decision on which way to go for their needs.
Your sound meter is wrong. 60 decibels is the equivalent of a normal conversation. 50 is a quiet office. Even with subs, that Witt can is 130+. I know, I have one. It just takes the edge off so your hearing isn’t completely destroyed in a gunfight. Not designed to be movie sniper quiet.
As the guy that may or may not have some insight into the warranty of that Witt suppressor, I'll say this. Beat that thing like it stole your wallet and screwed your girl. If you break it, we fix it. Do not limit it to 300BO Throw that think on a 308 or a WinMag and go!
It’s not worth the extra $700. Based on sound alone. Esp in a civilian situation. Ghg hates losing lol. But the Hyperion is def quieter by a decent amount. But the huxworth 556 is louder than 100 rounds 300blk suppressor. IMO
I think suppression is necessary especially for people with kids if something happens I don’t want my kids ear drums to be affected by other’s stupidity so the “ getting in the door” thing is real😂

Shout out Witt Machine! I’ve always been a fan of their suppressors. Not the best but for the price they work well. I’d recommend them as a first suppressor for someone getting into the whole tax stamp purchasing.
More volume equals more sound suppression. Not a fair comparison but most cans are overpriced. That 1k can durability is no better than the 300.00 can. It’s not the cost of the can it’s the size (volume)?difference.

Those decibel readers are very ineffective for firearms. The ones that can differentiate between decibels cost in the realm of 10k to 15k.

You may have to calibrate the reader. Also you want to get the readings from two different places, at the action of the rifle and again at the shooters ear.

Your sound meter is wrong. 60 decibels is the equivalent of a normal conversation. 50 is a quiet office. Even with subs, that Witt can is 130+. I know, I have one. It just takes the edge off so your hearing isn’t completely destroyed in a gunfight. Not designed to be movie sniper quiet.

Shout out Witt Machine! I’ve always been a fan of their suppressors. Not the best but for the price they work well. I’d recommend them as a first suppressor for someone getting into the whole tax stamp purchasing.

More volume equals more sound suppression. Not a fair comparison but most cans are overpriced. That 1k can durability is no better than the 300.00 can. It’s not the cost of the can it’s the size (volume)?difference.
