These guys are from the 75th mech brigade they were hit yesterday trying to retreat only 20 soldiers made it out safely....The Russian were waiting for them on the road and attacked with artillery and helicopter gunships.......

This war of attrition illustrates how important soldiers well trained in metalworking and mechanics (at the very least) are to the war effort. All the best.
I believe the USA military figured out its 10 service soldiers to every 1 fighting solider so your 100% correct how important people trained in STEM are for a war effort.

OMG - To restore blown hydraulics and then spend a week training on the stabilized gun platform to become a gunner in your captured and repaired fighting vehicle. These guys are intensely motivated and very smart.
