Thanks for sharing the old school kites. I remember seeing these kites on the Gwtw kite forums back when Steve hall was running that website.

The Banshee got me thinking about Peter Lynn's C Quad 4 line power/kitesurfing wings, easy to repair, very cheap, great buggy engines, had a few of those!

There were a few quads with similar shapes. The Peter Lynn c quad was definitely an influential design. I feel like all kite surfing kites evolved from the c quad

They were certainly in at the start,a lot of my friends complained about how expensive the inflatables were, coolest dude I ever met used a 4 metre mk 1 Predator, that boy was born on the water, fearless,I just focused on buggying,c quads, centuries, razors, yakusas, all the time Prism got bigger,Tim Benson seriously progressed his designs, along with the Flexifoil pilots, the 80's and 90's were such a launchpad, but I think the Americans contribution was massive, inspired hundreds of people, and even though the Internet killed a lot of uk kiteshops,at least you guys embraced it and rode out the storm,to the world's benefit.
