Nice to see the 🐦, 🐎 & people all sharing the beauty of the coast. When ( or if ) you two ever settle get a birdhouse & be amazed by how mama & papa birds raise their chicks ! That cinnamon roll tho .. 😋
Haha, those cinnamon rolls were huge! We loved seeing the horses, pups and people enjoying the beach. We’ll have to consider the bird house one day, but that might be quite a long time away for us!
So happy you included video of the frisbee throwing. I liked you guys before but the fact you had a frisbee in your car makes me like you even more. As always, thanks for filming, editing, and sharing your travels:) Stay safe and see you next video:)
those rolls were ginormous. they looked so good. Sure would love to get your road trip planner for the PCH. It's on my wife's must do list (so I guess it's also on mine).
I grew up going to Pismo (actually, my parents grew up in the 30's & 40's going to Pismo) and my sisters & I still love it. But I've always wondered why so many tourists go there, because what I love is just sitting up on the bluff and watching the ocean and listening to the waves. (We stay next door to the Tides Hotel, at the Sea Crest.) It's not like the town or the pier are anything special. I guess its claim to fame is it is the only place in southern or central California where you can drive on the beach. I agree that San Luis Obispo (SLO) is charming.
Nice, I bet the town and beach were much different back in the 30s and 40s. I think you’re right - it’s a popular stop because you can drive on the beach. It seems to be a hot spot for RVers too. We would have loved to spend a night in SLO. That town was neat!

I'm so glad that you were able to get onto the beach! I can't wait to see the rest of the road trip!
Us too! Next video from Big Sur is coming out soon!

Yo, those Cinnamon rolls looked INSANE!
Love the beanie Ashley, where is it from?
We Angelenos love watching you guys enjoy your way through Cali! Seems so trippy to drive on the beach, right? p.s., those cinnamon rolls are INSANE!
Thanks so much for watching guys! Driving on the beach felt like we were getting away with something lol 😆.
Keep going north...Humboldt
Good video, did you have to lowered the tires when you entered the dunes?
Thanks! We didn’t adjust the tires at all but that’s probably not a bad idea if you’re really going to do a bunch of driving around.
Anyone knows how to buy ticket in advance to drive on the beach?
Glad to hear they are stopping driving on the Beach. It’s being ruined by all those vehicles.
