As soon as she sang her first notes....I said....."oh....that girl can sing.....she's been listening to Bettye LaVette! Well my friend had never heard of Ms. LaVette....so I pulled her up on You Tube....and he had a fit! You could tell that Amy at some point in her vocal development, had been listening to Bettye, studied her style.....and became a real fan. I have been a fan of Bettye LaVette's for over 50 years; and it was such a sad, sad, tragedy that Amy Winehouse who had that same smooth, bluesy, cool, raw style is no longer with us....R.I.P.

he's got everything in this song going. a little jimmy cliff rather than marley, some "roots" rifts, great classic background vocals ala merry clayton. but most of all a slow r&b flow that brings it all together. great stuff.
