Just saw them last weekend on their 6 Birthday party as a band. I believe 22 songs. Songs from the first 21 albums and some new. All good and many different vibes. The joy they have as they play. These girls are creative, energetic, can play their instrument, can sing an they have an attitude, and i like it. Brings back the punk vibes. Must say they have great support from their family and from Alex . He helps these girls with everything. Sound, video, minivan driver and more. Kudos to this man. If you don't want to see recent video clips right now i suggest that you check their older stuff. It is in Ukrainian but 'Rock' was back then a big factor. Now between 16 and 18( i think) and go 4 to 5 years back and even with other members you hear a foundation of what they are now. I drove 3,5 hours to and 3,5 hours back and its was worth the trip. Will see them again on 15 June. I made some shorts from their performance and put them on my channel. Just to let you taste their performance

Kate (drums) Taya (bass) Maya (keyboards) Alona (guitar) Ira (lead guitar) Victory (Vocals) By late summer 2019 two Kira’s appeared with the band, Kira Panchenko on bass, although Taya was still with the band, I’m thinking she was the furthest away and youngest member, most videos after this had Kira, Taya occasionally. The other Kira, Kira Kasyanova replaced Victory as lead singer. This line up was steady until the start of 2021. Kate (drums) Kira P. and Taya (bass) Maya (keyboards) Alona (guitar) Ira (lead guitar) Kira K. (Vocals) The first video of 2021 had Maria join in place of Alona. Kate (drums) Kira P. LOL, that happened to me too. I haven't listened to The Warning in three weeks, since I discovered The Sixsters. I'll probably put them back into rotation in a little while. But, yeah, blown away by this band.
I too love The Sixsters. This song I didn't much care for the first time I heard it but after another play or two, now I love it. I love when Anna jumps off that platform. Even their newest video, Same Kid, with the comedy section, I found annoying when I first saw it and thought, "What the heck is this?" Then I went back and watched it again and I find it pretty cute. I like the fact that the first segment is Mexican, ala TW? I bounce back and forth between The Sixsters and The Warning depending on my mood. Although today, I listened to Plush who I discovered about two months ago. Yesterday, it was Larkin Poe, an American blues & rock band I discovered about two years ago. It all depends on my mood for what I listen to but mostly it's The Sixsters and The Warning right now.
Actually, what I meant is only that I thought the middle section broke the flow and that this may make reactors not react favorably. So far they tend to overlook it, or think it's clever, so that's not bad.
I've been following and supporting The Sixsters for quite a while now, and I'm always on the lookout for their next new song. It's been a while since I've watched this one, I really dug it on first viewing, it's got such a great youthful groove to it. They're always unique and different every time, very fresh sounding. Maria's vocal style is very different and cool. Anna's Guitar work is a sound I really love. And that Bass, they're all very talented. Even with all the line-up changes, they still manage to maintain their signature sound... Just Plain Cool!!!
I just discovered this band 1 week ago ... I now have 26 songs on repeat. They're gonna be huge. Try "Hold" and "Fever" ... you wont be disappointed. New Subby from Aust.
Thank you for another great The Sixsters reaction! Suggestions for other great videos: "For Us ... For Me" has them classily dressed in evening gowns (and tennis shoes if you look carefully) with Maria starting slow and sultry with a jazz-influenced melody, and then the whole band rocking out at the end. "I Stare At You" is a beautiful ballad with them as their lovely selves, 'Hold" is a beautiful simple acoustic piece with over 147,000 views so far, and "Happiness," a heartbreaking expression of frustration, anger, and hopelessness in the face of the horrible events they've faced (I'm still alive and it upsets me...want to escape from this place but I can't just run away. Happiness is foreign...).

I like your "strips of ginger that cleanse the palette" analogy and their musicianship is solid. Badass song indeed. The music is dark and heavy and the scratchin' turntablist adds an unexpected layer. I read that the band was inspired by The Warning and it would be so cool if the two bands could play the same show or, have a guest appearance (that guitar solo was sublime). There has been some major confusion about that The SiXsters are Absolutely not warning inspired or influenced. That’s being mixing up with “Freeze the Fall” a great new little 3 piece band from Canada. They posted some warning covers and Quinn 16 lead vocals and guitar had a guitar signed by w when they were in Canada. (Also Aria 15 bass & Jonah 15 drums) they now have 3 professionally done videos out now with more coming. They are moving fast and Really Rock.

Found another new band I think you might like. 3 teens from Canada (a 16 and 2 15 years olds), partly influenced by The Warning, and female fronted. "Freeze the Fall" is the band name, try the recently released music videos for "Daughters of Witches" and "Glitch". Amusingly enough, I finished recording my reaction to The Warning's latest Spanish lyric song and mentioned that "Freeze the Fall" is coming soon and that the TWA need to check out them and The Sixsters! Get out of my head!

For fans that don't know, The Sixsters have a secret weapon they haven't yet deployed. Polina Zagnoi (bass) is beautiful singer and accomplished pianist in her own right, and has performed since an early age. First is a piano recital when she was 11, next a cover of Hardkiss and one of her filming herself covering Mariah Carey, both when she was around 14. I absolutely adore Polina. She seems like a really sweet young lady. I had seen the video of her doing Shallow when she was 11 and I love it. All I can say is she is an amazing talent. Piano, singing, killer bass player, speaks three languages, and based on the switcheroo her and Kate did during the Christmas live stream, maybe she'll be adding drums to her repertoire. But she does have a beautiful voice and would love to see her do the vocals on a Sixsters song or two when they slow it down like on I Stare at You or For Us For Me.
Yes, few singers would take on a Mariah Carey song, very difficult. As her voice matures and she has even more control, she will be phenomenal. (I seem to use that word a lot when talking about this band.) I wonder if she writes her own songs. She is so new to the band I can imagine she's not going to march right in and start asking for lead parts. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, though.

Based on my best knowledge, Anna (lead guitar) is 21, Maria (lead singer/rhythm guitar) is 17, Polina (bass) is 16, Kate (drummer) is 15, and not sure how old Sofia (keyboard) is. There may have been recent birthdays, but pretty close. All teenagers except Anna.
Anna is 16 and the keyboardist in this video is Maya (15) You're pretty spot on for the rest. I keep in touch with the SiXsters semi-often including Kate's dad, Oleks. (Alex) I've been a fan for a little over 2 years now and have watched tons of their live streams. They are amazing, talented and humble young ladies. Very engaging and love their fans to the max! They have two versions on their YT channel, I suggest the first from 2022. ruclips.net/video/M9cQ1ILyMJQ/видео.html The war started in February 2022, at the time there were 7 members of the band, most of the girls fled Ukraine and lived in different EU Countries. In June, 5 of those members met up, on the first day they spontaneously wrote Happiness, an outpouring of their emotions. On the second day they recorded it live in their new studio. The line in the song is “Happiness is foreign” and the first line of the song is “I'm still alive and it upsets me” The line-up that day was Kate (drums), Kira (Bass), Maya (Keyboards), Anna (lead guitar) and Maria (guitar/vocals). They made one more video (Hold) after this, then Kira’s family returned to Ukraine, prompting them to recruit Polina. Polina went to Kiev’s school of Rock and the Sixsters and her both appear on their YT channel from before the war. Kira has an interesting back story with the band. The original bass player, Taya, was the youngest when the band formed in 2018, at 7 years old. She also was the furthest away. The rest of the band lived in or close to Kiev, Taya lives close to the border with Poland. They had a concert lined up but Taya was not going to be able to make it, so the rest of the girls were in a panic searching for a stand in. They came across Kira by chance in a music store, Kira played classic guitar, she had never picked up a bass but they agreed to have an audition in 2 days, she had 40 hours to learn to play bass. She killed it. After that they officially had 2 bass players, Kira and Taya.
I think I got all three! I hope that was a cut and paste my friend, because if it wasn't, then I think we may have found the most dedicated fan that the sixers have!

Based on my best knowledge, Anna (lead guitar) is 21, Maria (lead singer/rhythm guitar) is 17, Polina (bass) is 16, Kate (drummer) is 15, and not sure how old Sofia (keyboard) is. There may have been recent birthdays, but pretty close. All teenagers except Anna.
Anna is 16 and the keyboardist in this video is Maya (15) You're pretty spot on for the rest. I keep in touch with the SiXsters semi-often including Kate's dad, Oleks. (Alex) I've been a fan for a little over 2 years now and have watched tons of their live streams. They are amazing, talented and humble young ladies. Very engaging and love their fans to the max! @@DanL---2024 Yeah, all the girls are teenagers. Some of their older line up are probably in their early 20s now though and I agree Anna is a phenominal guitarist! They all play multiple instruments as well! Polina surprised me on the drums during a live show. Her and Katya switched. So much talent! I hope they keep rising "To the Stars" (до зірок!)
I don't know if they like to do interviews, but The Pentagenarian and Watcher On The Wall both would love to interview them, if you care to pass that on. I dropped contact info in their Pareon Chat, but not sure if they'll see it. Interviews in English would be awesome!
@@DanL---2024 During their Christmas live stream, they mentioned that Anna's birthday was the following Saturday and she was turning 21.

The war started in February 2022, at the time there were 7 members of the band, most of the girls fled Ukraine and lived in different EU Countries. In June, 5 of those members met up, on the first day they spontaneously wrote Happiness, an outpouring of their emotions. On the second day they recorded it live in their new studio. The line in the song is “Happiness is foreign” and the first line of the song is “I'm still alive and it upsets me”
The line-up that day was Kate (drums), Kira (Bass), Maya (Keyboards), Anna (lead guitar) and Maria (guitar/vocals). They made one more video (Hold) after this, then Kira’s family returned to Ukraine, prompting them to recruit Polina. Polina went to Kiev’s school of Rock and the Sixsters and her both appear on their YT channel from before the war.
Kira has an interesting back story with the band. The original bass player, Taya, was the youngest when the band formed in 2018, at 7 years old. She also was the furthest away. The rest of the band lived in or close to Kiev, Taya lives close to the border with Poland. They had a concert lined up but Taya was not going to be able to make it, so the rest of the girls were in a panic searching for a stand in. They came across Kira by chance in a music store, Kira played classic guitar, she had never picked up a bass but they agreed to have an audition in 2 days, she had 40 hours to learn to play bass. She killed it.
After that they officially had 2 bass players, Kira and Taya.
I think I got all three! I hope that was a cut and paste my friend, because if it wasn't, then I think we may have found the most dedicated fan that the sixers have!
