I'm in a wheelchair and I'm loving this video! I use a backpack every day of my life for as long as I can remember.

I am also in a wheelchair, but for a bag I got a waterproof messenger bag. And because I live in Asia, I carry everything I might need or want with me. Almost all of my pants and jackets are 6 pocket, and I have everything with belt clips, lanyards, etc. Lol, way to difficult to replace items here.

    • @poipoi300
      @poipoi300 2 года назад +3

I used to be in a wheelchair and I went through backpacks so quickly until I changed to one made out of nylon. That backpack which I got at 14 is still being used regularly now 10 years later with almost no signs of wear. I've only replaced the main zipper pulls on it and that was just preventative maintenance because they started fraying. I remember my mom was against the idea because it was expensive and I argued that it would last. It outlived the claim I thought was a lot by double so far. I kind of want to give it to my little brother to see just how long it can last.

Great video y'all. Props to Vanquest for the orange material inside the bag, which makes it much easier to find stuff. Other companies should take note of that great feature.

I carry a rain coat that stuffs into it's own pocket and a shemagh in my bag. Both have come in handy especially having kiddos. The shemagh has acted as a blanket more than once.

@@tommieboi707it’s not practical at all, I got hooked on buying the lastest and greatest “EDC” gadgets because I kept watching all these cringey RUclipsrs and their 15 minute long commercials.
Anyways, I tried lugging around a bag like this because it feels nice but I never really used any of the stuff and now it all just collects dust and I’m back to my old routine,
      Glock
      Keys
      wallet
      Maybe sunglasses

A great urban setup matey, from the house to the shop with a couple of "just in case" in between if you have to walk home. A smaller water bottle is advise, especially with current situation being hygienically incline helps when little people are involve. Children, the best thing god invented. General rule, whatever is in my bag is a compliment to what’s in my pocket.
Small knaf (or 3) in my pocket, bigger knaf in bag.
Leatherman Juice S2 complimented by either Knipex or a wide array of leatherman or Gerbers I can choose from. (These might have a bigger knaf on them and I skip carrying a dedicated one.)
Phone complimented by laptop and tablet, chargers for all obv, and maybe a short 3-4ft extension cord with a ground because not all outlets play nice. (Really my main issue.)
Power bank for when I can’t get to an outlet.
Junk pens to loan out so my nice one doesn’t leave my shirt pocket.
An extra carabiner or two because hanging things is useful.
A bigger flashlight because walking in the dark with a dead flashlight is terrible.
That concludes things that get rotated for EDC.
Kind of what I would consider a cargo pants EDC.
Personally I also pack a tshirt, underwear and socks. As well as the Dude wipes shower towelettes, deodorant and a tiny thing of cologne, a toothbrush, and small tube of toothpaste. I sweat heavy and don’t like smelling. If you’re carrying a backpack you should carry hygiene items anyways imo. But that’s 50% the REASON I’m carrying it. Keep me from having to walk or Uber all the way back to my vehicle because I decided to save $30 and walk 5 miles. I really haven’t started just packing things in because they fit. Things are heavy and I like having some room so I can fit something I stop at a store and buy and not really worry about where I’m going to squeeze it into my bag.

Great Video! I use a Outdoor Laptop Bag (Could use a little bigger one). I carry everything from my Surface, a small tablet for reading and one that I use as a second monitor when needed, Daily read Bible, current book reading and so much more. I have had to repair the slip because it broke due to the weight. My issue is every time I downsize (Minimal) I find that I need the things that I took out of the bag. Still working on this one! Great channel and TY for all the shares valuable info for this topic. Here is my dilemma, Seeking best way to carry items on person since I suffer a stroke and I am impaired somewhat. While small packs and slings might work as well as a fanny. I have stumbled upon an option for me and maybe others in form of clothing, an outer shell garment that has multiple pockets might just solve the issue. Mine is a windbreaker shell from REI an older version but has 2 deep hand pockets, a full chest pocket, another interior one, and a bonus a sleeve pocket. Here in the PNW as the weather is funky This looks like my go to right now. Possible idea for you to investigate garments as an option to carry. TY for all info and links!

My every day pack for walking the dog 2-5 miles a day. (95.4% of days so far in 2022)
5 liters of water and dog bowl. dog treats, spare 20 foot leash, dog waste bags, (5 liters, in the summer he will drink 2 liters and I pour more over him and pat it into his fur.) and I get 1 liter.
extra socks, and weather appropriate hat, bandana, neck gaiter, scarf, gloves, shoelaces, poncho
knee wrap, ankle wrap, 3" ace bandage, 3 band-aids,
electrical tape, lighter, ferrocerium rod and striker, compass, multitool, mylar blanket, paper and pen, pocket knife, 20 feet paracord, pulley for paracord, 3 small carabiners, flashlight, two of 6 feet of narrow polyester strap (for carrying yard sale stuff)
Also carried separately are sidearm and spare mag, cell phone, cubotan and keys.
After two years with the same pack the bottom started wearing out on the seam against my back. I just sent it back because of the lifetime warranty.

I also use an 18liter backpack, really great size. I had the same problem with my 25liter REI backpack. The pack I use know is from Mystery Ranch and it's called the Assaulter and it's an 18 liter like I said earlier. It comes in at a really good price as well. It carries everything I need and nothing I don't.

Its pretty funny how Apple user needs extra hard drives and power banks in 2022. Great video man👍

There’s no power bank in the video at all. And I need an SSD because I use 1-2TB in storage for videos per month. So I guess it’s funny how I’d need that with any computer.

Check out the incharge X, it can replace most if not all your cables.
