I just want to tell you that out of EVERYONE on RUclips making "How to" videos on hair, you are the MOST descriptive and put together person. I can follow along with your steps very easily and I really appreciate that.

I NEVER got bored with the talking! It is so informative and just blabbing on and on over nothing. Its all about something! I didn't even know we were supposed to move only one side of the blade and my cuts come out cleaner. After this video though, my cuts will be perfect!!!!! Thank you guys for giving me something I couldn't afford. God bless u

Thanks for the tutorial. I am a female who has been cutting her own hair since the middle 1970s! I learned as a teenager by watching the stylist. In recent years I have perfected my technique by watching youtube. I have never been trained and have fooled even other hairdressers who can't believe I cut my own hair. Short too. I love this cut but was having difficulty getting the back just right. I may watch it a few more times and then cut my hair tomorrow. Thanks again.

wow, matt, i can never thank you guys enough. FSE is the most encouraging and inspiring outlet for hair. also, i want to thank you for being so detailed in your videos (like with always explaining finger angles, showing the entire cut, etc.). it answers a lot of questions that pop up in my mind so they don't remain just a mystery.

Awesome job, I love this look, wore it in the 80's when I was a teenager. It takes great restraint not to cut it like this again. ( I hate being trendy, too mature for that shit now, lol) but I am so tempted. I might just go for it one day while at the salon, it's Funner to just be spontaneous instead of planning it out, no regrets! :P

Beautiful!!! I want this cut myself. Where I live, not many people are that good at cutting hair short. The main guy I always used to use is over an hour away and he only teaches now. But his son and wife were taught by Chris (hair stylist) at "The Chris John Salon" Chris is an amazing hairdresser.

will you show or tell me where the headshape changes in the front and back? I think I could cut a better bob and overall haircutting base on the head form. Also where does the head shape change on the top of the head. I know each headshape is different but I just want a general idea. I know this will help my layering
I love your work and try to follow you as you move around the headshape. Please! help me to understand. Thank you so much

But not a hairdresser, and i would love to have a razor cut, but my hair looks horrible when cuted like that. Why?? The ends split in two every single time. Just what can i say to my stilist to do to avoid that. Sorry my english... thanks so much for the great job and sharing

I normally go on RUclips to help get inspired since I am trying to expand my career, usually I find crap and takes me forever to find a video that has real stylist, not just people who think they know what they're doing. This was perfect and exactly what I was looking for, thank you for the inspiration! I knew how to cut a pixie cut but I wasn't completely confident, now I feel fresh and ready for my clients when they ask for it :) please continue what you're doing! I'm looking forward to more awesome videos! Thank you ♡♡♡
