I know I'm hella late but are their any widebody kits for the type R ?
Other than intake, turbo inlet, downpipe, I would like you guys to make an oil cooler kit since the R is heating issues on the track!

Took the day off and am hitting some backroads for fun in the FK8. The AWE touring makes me giggle every time I hit it. You need to get the one with the dual phase front pipe tho - but after that, it's really the best. I took off another brand and can't believe I waited so long.

I just got a 2021 CTR so just in time see what I wanna do but ik I’m doing the PRL HV intake already
Was wondering why during the installation of the front pipe that he didn't "heat wrap" it ? Watching videos of the installation of Invidia's Gemini R400 which also comes with the front pipe, I noticed most people are heat wrapping it (or suggesting ceramic coating) since the stock front pipe has heat shielding on it, does the AWE touring not require it ?

i thought of getting this exhaust but i have a catless downpipe and the only video i see with this and the catless was way too loud in the cab to the point you couldnt hear the radio

I know this has nothing to do with the video, but would a blow-off valve be compatible with the MAP 15+ STi CAI and Stage 1+ tune? Was thinking about getting one and wanted to see if they are compatible without extra tuning.
Stage 1+ tune is intended for use with the intake only
Create a flex fuel kit . Need some e85 options. Downpipe too .

Intake and intercooler! What brand would you recommend? I have a fk8 2020 and daily drive it... thinking about getting the mishimoto intake cuz it comes with the CARB sticker and I'm in CA so its needed 😌

If ur daily driving with a Mishimoto’s intake it should be fine. People have reported of heat soaks with the Mishimoto’s intake but it shouldn’t be an issue for daily driving, only track

Does this require a tune?
A catback does not require a tune! We would recommend getting one after a downpipe install to get maximum gains though!
Damn them number at stock makes me wish I got a type r instead of the focus ST

That's too many connecting parts. Worrying about air leak from those connectors.

i have this exhaust.. it has a really bad echo at 60-70mph or at any cruising speed near 2-3k rpm. have you noticed this? and yes, clamps have been re-tightened and everything checks out.
How long have you had it? If it is brand new, it needs few hundred miles to break in and carbon build-up to tone it down.
Or did you bought the track version lol?
@@Mugen-zkY i have the touring. i have about 500 miles on it. hopefully it does die down like you said. i plan to put some sound deadeners in the meantime
@@res0zsfa I have touring too for over 2000 miles. Still get the big “echo” on highway cruising. Was hoping to turn off the active sound control to see if it helps.
@@gordonyip8415 I ended up doing a double layer of sound deadeners and it helped out with the echo SIGNIFICANTLY. I love the exhaust now. Too bad I had to pay 80 extra dollars for the work. taking off the active sound control won't help because if you put it in comfort mode, you'll still hear the echo. Comfort mode decreases the active sound

HKS > AWE imo as far as exhausts are concerned for the FK8
AWE Touring exhaust is way overrated to me, it looks silly. They should've just made it one tip or single exit tip coz the other 2 tips are literally useless lol

Exhaust does nothing for this car until you go bigger turbo... 🙄
