Gazza is a legend a true footballing icon 👏 of a man loved by England 🏴 players and there fans 💯
I’m so looking forward to hear from Paul, James is smashing it out of the park.
True legend from my local town. How could anyone gifted with the talents this lad has had from such a young age, get through a life full of amazing achievements unscathed. Remember he was top of his game long before players were baby sat the way they are today.
Legend always love you mate.
Unfortunately nobody comes through anything unscathed Neil. I think Gazza would agree. No disrespect meant, Gazza is the best:) Love from sunny Bournemouth:)
What a great interview. Love that most of the bad times weren’t focused on too much and it was more a look back on the good times of his career & life so far. Glad he’s doing better
Great interview, That was your best yet @JamesEnglish. Nice balance between asking just enough questions and allowing Paul to open up. Well done.
This is THE BEST interview you have done James what a absolute legend wish you nothing but the best gazza my football hero my bedroom wall was full of posters of gazza
WATP WHAT A MAN SO PROUD HE PLAYED FOR THE MIGHTY GERS 🇬🇧
What a cracking podcast this was James I was actually gutted when it ended. Gazza is so humble gone off the rails at times but always pulls it back. Proud to be a geordie. Keep up with your podcasts I love them
Met Paul a couple of times when he was injured playing for Boro, one of the nicest and kindest blokes ever
A true legend, been through a lot and I hope he stays strong and well!
Remember running about cumbernauld in 96 with bleached blonde hair all thanks to this genius only one gazza ❤
Wasn’t Abronhill was it?
No matter what club you support you can’t help but love Gazza, he’s a national treasure
Thoroughly enjoyed this.James is a brilliant interviewer. Thanks for giving us a great insight into an absolute legend.
Broke the mould when they made Gazza. 💎❤️
I love Gazza he was still good when he came to Middlesbrough. We loved him.
Absolutely loved him at boro. Same with another troubled genius Paul Merson, one of the best I’ve seen pull on the shirt
Absolutely love Gazza. Look forward to seeing this, I don't think you would find anyone who is as open as Gazza.
About 6 years ago , my brother, an addicted, mentally scarred chap , was in the queue in the Coop with his Special Brew and GV baccy order.
Paul was behind him, about to fish the Avon In Hampshire, and bought my brother his fare, insisting on it.
The Lord sends us Angels…… this man is one of em.
An angel…..
James you have smashed 2021 already❤️💯💯💯Gazza we love you here in Scotland❤️🏴
This episode was my favourite so far it was brilliant.
I was a kid when you Scored that Three goals against Aberdeen to win us 8 in a row. I was in the Govan rear that day and Jesus one of my greatest moments at a Football game. Rangers fans loved you and we always will. Great interview. You are looking great. Dont be too hard on yourself and stay well Brother Gazza. Xx
One of my favourite all time podcasts 👌🏻 I am guilty of feeling sorry for Gazza in his later years and managed to forget what an awesome football player he was. It’s great to hear all about his early life and the incredible memories from his career, and why he made the choices he did. What a lovely guy and I now understand why so many people love and care for this man 🤩 xx
I have addiction problems and your a absolute experience to me to never give up. Your a national treasure my man. Your a genuine good guy.
Thank you
That's the best I've seen gazza in years I hope this is now here to stay
Cheers James. Us English love a bit of Gazza. I used to like watching his rangers team play. Great team that was.
