- In this travel vlog, I visit the city of San Salvador in El Salvador. If you watch any news or social media outlets, they all tend to post El Salvador in a negative and unsafe light. I decided to go check it out myself and was completely blown away. Possibly the friendliest and most welcoming country I've ever visited. This will be the first video of about 5 or 6 videos from El Salvador. I hope you guys enjoy!

You must be careful with curtidos (pickled cabbage) because sometimes bacteria grow that are not compatible with the digestive systems of foreigners. If it hurts you, just go to a pharmacy and ask for parasite medicine, that heals you in hours. Enjoy your stay in El Salvador, the people are very friendly.

Curtido has no parasites , it has good bacteria that cleanses your gut, it is actually prebiotic, I'm a chef and I know what I'm talking about.
Can you explain how the bacteria grow in there exactly? I have eaten curtido all my life and never experienced this at all neither has anyone that’s ever visited home.
Hi, I don't know how bacteria grow there, I'm not a bacteriologist. I have told it because of an experience I had with an ex-boyfriend from the USA. I am Salvadoran and I have never had problems eating curtido, but my ex-boyfriend did and I went to the pharmacy to buy medicine for parasites and he was cured in hours.

It was definitely safe for me and I stick out very easily 😅 Just like any country, as long as you are smart and cautious you will have an amazing time. El Salvador was the friendliest and most welcoming country I've ever visited! Your going to have a blast!
