When I hear the word "Megaman" this stage immediately comes to mind. I have the entire layout of it inside my mind and it's structure. One of the top 8 best stages. The design, the gimmicks, the enemies, the midboss. It's all perfect! If there was another small gimmick at the end of the stage this would reach the top 5.

I just play games for fun, and to me, fun in Mega Man is just messing around making every go boom. =P Although I have been working on the "challenges" lately and playing the game in totally different styles for them is pretty fun too. =n.n=

I HATE this level with a passion. Out of all the other 8 games, this is probably the only non-Wiley mega man level I really hate. Those hedge clippers are sadistic. 1/3 health gone per hit. Also, that damn flower with the spinning whatever the hell it is sucks too.

I'd love to see you beat this godamn boss with just m. buster, I don't have any other characters available to me except r. coil on the wii and I get my ass kicked everytime, no fair.
This stage has good music. It seems silly at first, but when you think about it, a bee-keeping robot sort of makes sense. I mean, people like honey, and those suckers like to sting. Yeah, he's Hornet Man, but Bee Man sounds dumb.
I found a trick for this stage use jewel satellite between the two flower pot enemies. they will launch flowers at you and the satellites will destroy them. then you can collect energy and stuff
If they decided to recycle music from Mega Man 2 in this game, they should have at least used the popup window to select items instead of using the screen from Megaman 4-6. Those were the good days when M-Buster was labeled as 'P'.
I'm up to jewel man or someone I think, I haven't played this game in a good month or two (fallout 3 addiction). Maybe I will play some later today now that I watch this video! I just the classic wiimote for it too. Hornet man sucks compared to some of the other bosses. They are all hard to beat at first.
I honestly found Hornet Man's stage the easiest. I beat it on my first try, surprisingly. The flower mini-boss is really easy to take down with Tornado Blow, but if you're pro Mega Man then it is possible to beat it with Buster only.
this fucking game is to hard :S i coulda tleast beat most stages in megaman 2-3 without to much effort ... in this fucking game i can only beat one so far.. to much cheap deaths and shit .. goddamn
The cheaper the death, the longer it takes to complete the stage, the more you get to enjoy the music. You should be thankful, instead of crying like a wimp!

Quite no, for a simple reason. The rythm doesn't match the pattern for boss battle fights, a fast composed song is useful for an boss battle theme.

I usually do this stage first. I consider the Hornet Chaser to be that valuable. It saves a lot of backtracking and risky maneuvering.
