  • Step by step instructions on how to check tension and tighten belts on a Sweep-All Sweeper.
    TOOLS REQUIRED:
    Wrenches: 3/4", 5/8", 7/16" and an Impact with a 5/8" socket
    INSTRUCTIONS:
    1. Remove the 4 bolts securing the belt guard.
    2. Remove the belt guard.
    3. Check belts for tension
    4. Loosen the 4 bolts securing the engine to the engine mount.
    5. Loosen the jam nut to allow the engine to slide on the mount.
    6. Tighten up tensioner nut while verifying belt tensioning.
    7. After the belts are under tension, tighten up the jam nut.
    8. Tighten all engine mount bolts.
    9. Slide belt guard back in place.
    10. Tighten the 4 screws that hold the belt guard in place.
