Great to watch it with you mate i cant even imagine how good the next little letti will be your dad was awesome i think were about the same age ie the david knight era loved watching him ride thumbs up from down under 😁👍
Amazing hill climb. Question: Is the front brake linked to the rear? I saw him holding the front brake lever in while the front tire was in the air while doing his pivot turns. It would make sense to link them so you can hold the rear brake while you're off the bike on a steep hill, but I've never seen it mentioned before. Don't know if it's common dirt bikes, or just hard enduro, or just some riders.
No, just a regular setup, that kind of thing is only on supermoto or stunt bikes, generally, but you always stay on the front brake while hill climbing to avoid rolling, but the way he's pivoting on his back wheel, is pure clutch and throttle control!!! 😅
@@jethroshaw4642 There's no way that holding the front brake when pointed up a hill that steep keeps the bike from rolling backwards. Look at the video when he's doing those pivot turns with the front tire in the air the whole time. He's actively modulating the front brake. When I was a kid, I remember taking my little dirt bike straight up through the forest like that, and the front brake was entirely *useless*. I still have a big scar on the back of my leg from a time I stalled out and started sliding backwards (front brake locked but tire sliding) and couldn't get my foot on the rear brake pedal in time. Slid back until my leg caught on a fallen tree, and a broken off branch stuck into my leg behind the knee.
@@daemn42 OK, I ride hard Enduro, and when you're doing a pivot turn, it helps when the front wheel isn't turning, since when the wheel is turning that spinning mass is reluctant to change direction, that could be the case? But I can very very confidently say that the front and rear brakes aren't linked
@@daemn42 They're not linked. He's just covering the front brake because in a lot of places on the steep hills he doesn't have access to the rear brake because he needs his feet on the ground for balance. The front brake is not "entirely useless", using it together with some clutch slipping will prevent the bike from rolling back down the hill

His father is the best help I have seen so far.. somehow he is everywhere.. at erzberg also was everywhere, best wingman ever.. I'm jealous..!!!
This is INSANE! What an incredible display of determination and skill!
Mani is defiantly my favourite rider. Way to go!
I know he's a top rider, but that lovely throttle control on the tech going. Just enough. Props to you Mani. Respect to all the riders.
this went from 0 to 100 real quick. these guys have crazy skills! i can't even imagine the hard work that stands behind this amazing performance.

Aw-freaking-some POV of a gnarly off-road moto track. Luv this kind of stuff.
This is the hardest race. Manuel the man! Incredible.
Increíble carrera de Manuel.
Muy buena selección de imágenes de la cámara de acción
Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷
If you ride you realize this is unreal and magic.
Notice how theres a giant chunk of mud gets jammed in the muffler and the bike goes completely silent.
Thats KTM stealth mode working there.......8^)
Pure art
in one word " WOW " Great skills
Fantastisch finis. Wunderschön. :D
I like to ride, I even like technical but I can't even imagine riding like this!!!😫😫😫
No joke, I'd be done halfway up that first switchback hill climb.
Best of the best!
🤘🏼

That race would be so fun to do!!!!!😝👊✊
15:20 last minutes of the race were pretty crazy
แหม่!! ทีมงานก็ช่างสรรหาทางให้เค้าไปกันเนาะ.. ^___^

My favorite is Graham but so lot of another amazing pilot :

AWESOME, but the GoPro sound is terrible. I am glad I still have a GOPRO 4 Black
Extra 💪💪👍👍👍wilcomen🇧🇦🇧🇦
Great ride by Mani.. Does anybody know why Mani's bikes has always only one throttle cable;;;

But just to clarify, some people like to ride with a rear brake close to the clutch lever, but not on the front brake side

Ok, now I am ready to throw up. Hell, that's fast!
DoPe
i just wanna scream at those people to move i mean i get that you're supportive and all but being careful to not hit you just adds to the stress

Why do they have 2 gps?
one zoomed in on the map for tight tracks and one zoomed out to see the overall tracks for faster part of the tracks.
i would get lost in the first 2 minutes
flipping burgers at 4:14
Yikes. 🙈
4:15 lmao
In every dificult part he was helped by ktm staff, Help should not be allowed. At Lagares he would have been disqualified.
He wasn't really helped at every single part and besides if you were doing that you might want help 2 so
Dawn Dishsoap , of course I would want help if allowed, but other riders dont have 30 staff ktm scattered all over the race course, so it’s unfair.
He’s a Factory rider, and several of the people helping him were adorn with the Husqvarna team logos, same same in the end all are paid by KTM....
Agree that the help must be consistent for all or not be allowed on the race course.
I think the same. Very unfair
Did
Lol
Too much help... It shouldn't be allowed
I agree... should be like Erzberg... no help after a certain point... only riders can help each other.
First
bullshit track :D but not impossible for ya 😎
