How can the jet be removed exactly? And has the column to be unscrewed on the detector site?

A wrench-end screw driver is used to unscrew and extract the jet. I think it's 1/4" - not sure on the size.

Uh, it's not a Fire Ionisation detector it's a Flame Ionisation detector
