This was so wholesome! I'm so happy that you found inspiration from my video, best of luck with your reading goal! Can't wait to see your progress :) Keep up the good content Eric, subbed ✌🏼
What's up guys, I hope you liked this video about why I'm setting a reading goal. If you couldn't make it to the live premiere where I answer all your questions and comments, check out my video next week at 9am EST where you can come and hangout with the Sun Squad. See you there! 🌞
This video was so great Eric. I have so much in common with you rightnow it’s unreal. I would like to throw a few thoughts out there: 1. I really love this short video format, I hope you keep that up. 2. I also started reading Harry Potter this summer (for the first time), I am at the end of Prisoner of Azkaban. I love the books so far. I would love to chat with you about the books in general if that’s something you’re up for. 3. I have also been listening to audiobooks while I walk my dog in the morning. The audiobook I am currently listening to is “Stiff: The curious lives of human cadavers” by Mary Roach. I cannot recommend that book enough. Moreover, it is one of the funniest book I have read (or heard) - go figure. 4. There an app called libby, where you can get free audiobooks, ebooks, and more. This app is absolutely free because you can sign in with your public library card - which anyone can get. Moreover my goal is to finish the Harry potter series and a couple of other books this year: “The Help” by Kathyrn Stockett, and “Being Mortal” by Atul Gawande.
Hey Darshan! Nice to connect outside of class. Very sorry for the late reply as I didn't see this comment :( The Harry Potter books were fantastic and I would love to chat about them or any other books. Also, definitely going to look into some of the recommendations you provided to me - Being Mortal was actually on my reading list! Hope all is well at school and you're doing well Darshan :)
Loved the warriors series growing up too! (Lol who knew I could get that into cats) I started a reading challenge earlier this year for much of the same reasons - documentaries/podcasts/tv can still be informative but they don’t allow for the slow reflection that books do. I highly recommend Sapiens (mind boggling), Hidden Valley Road (true story of family of 12 kids where 6 get schizophrenia) and Why We Sleep (finally motivated me to fix my sleep schedule) for your science background!
Love it Grace! Sapiens and Why We Sleep are actually on my reading list and I'm adding Hidden Valley Road right now. Thanks for the recommendations and keep in touch with what else you're reading! :)
