Best intro ever, best outro ever. I love this episode!
"I'm gonna give this suit back to my dad" LMAO
Bloodbath and Beyond was just about to comment that... lmao
Truly a contender for their best outro, also I genuinely believe that suit was borrowed
Gosh, the Game Sack guys are the coolest guys ever! Like those kickass uncles everyone wishes they had!
I like to think I'm a that kickass uncle. My nephews and nieces always want to come over and play videogames with me :P
Game Sack + Classic Game Room = a crossover episode that needs to happen!
If I could afford a neo-geo or a sega cd i wouldn't be on a budget.
This Game Sack must be a Ball Sack!
Cause you two are NUTS!!
Sega CD is not worthy in the mid 90s.
Hah that’s a you problem 😂
This is an episode for WEALTHY gamers on a budget, I think they make that very clear
I love that this is "gaming on a budget" and the first console they show is a sega cdx wich costs a buttload o' money hahahahahah
I bought one at a yard sale for $1 no joke but theres no power supply made with the correct volts amps ect so i cant use it
holy shit thats lucky
You mean a sega cd? Not that expensive I think.
+xavier martinez: My thoughts too! Their powers of understated irony were strong in that segment...!! ;-)
Hey said they were rich, is cheap for them
6:32 "Magician's Lord will only cost you 35$". Sadly, not anymore: now it costs 10 times that amount.
A Boy and his Blob might be the most underrated Wii game, and it's easily in my top 10. It's fun, colorful, imaginative, charming, engaging. So many positive adjectives!
BladeBlur and its on mobile devices now
So many great games listed off here, I really need to get a hold of a Neo Geo AES or an all in one cart for the MVS
the comedy on this show is brilliant :D
"I gotta get this suit back to my dad." I nearly died laughing when I heard that! Perfect ending =D
I'd just discovered Game Sack thru a friend of mine. Being an old gamer who started getting into Games back in 1978 this is an entertaining channel to watch. Thanks for posting so many wonderful videos.
Having spent most of my life in the Denver metro area is big part of why you guys are my favorite you-tubers. I always enjoy watching the "Sack". Keep it going guys.
Nam 1975 would be perfect for the wii with the nunchuck controller.
no
The best show on youtube! I have looked through about 20-30 episodes and I love this!
I died at the very last line. You guys are hilarious!
Love the idea of this episode. Aaaaand it was a good episode like always, you guys are great.
Funny how Magician Lord and Nam 75 is freaking expensive now.
"I gotta get this suit back to my dad"
Hands down the funniest line GameSack has ever said.
Probably because every guy here has said that at some point in their lives...
Arms Dealer Too scumbag to relate ;3;
Why would you borrow your dad's suit. Weird. Oh, you needed it for the court case?
Even my dad don't use it 😂
Thanks for that. Skating was a passion for me growing up. I will always have fond memories even though it was only landing small tricks off of launch ramps. Tony Hawk games always felt "real" to me.
I did enjoy the list, but I think saying the Wii had a small library (of good games) is a bit inaccurate. Rather, the Wii had TONS of shovelware that kind of made the good games harder to dig out of it. My largest collection of games is my Wii collection, which actually surprises me honestly, though if I had a PS2 collection it would definitely tower over it, granted. However my only non nintendo collection is 360, I don't collect FPSes however which says alot in itself.
Awesome! Glad to hear we are part of your morning routine every other Sunday.
Nice episode guys. Always look forward to new content.
that ending omg, top tier game sack episode with the ending being the cherry on top
Wow! This episode was friggin awesome! Loved the thought process to create this episode.
2013 must have been a good time if games were cheap back then :)
Haha this has to be one of my favorite episodes! I wish they would do more funny costume/get ups for certain videos! I think it's hilarious.
Dave, you wanted so badly to do the tricks in Pro Skater and realized you were never good enough that you mastered the video game & I am grateful you found closure on my similar experience in skating. That was an emotional segment of this fantastic video I will never forget. Tears of joy from me to you my friend, thanks, great job!!!!
I read a lot of history about videogames, checked lots of oldschool game shows but you guys are actually the very first one that mentioned Mario Bros USA. That little detail just blew my gaming mind! Keep up the awesome work.
Finally some love for Jackal! I've always felt this game was very underrated! Nice boys!
This episodes hits the sweet spot for me because I love to collect games that give me the best bang for my hard earned buck.
Love the ending. That's got to be one of your best skits. You guys never fail to amuse me.
Oh that's sick, Dave is a skater, props man! Love that shot of you on the ramp. I'm still skating even though I'm nearly 40.
the price of those 2 neo geo games have risen a lot since this video ...
Yep, $35 can only get you the case that holds the Magician Lord cart now. :\
Oh lord, the violin version of Turnabout Sisters in the end. :D
Alot of the games listed in the video have gone up in price. Gee I wonder why.
It's because retro game collecting in general is getting more popular as of late, with quite a number of RUclipsrs focusing on the old games
young people like me started to appreciate games they've never grew up with, I was born in 1994 and never knew anything about video games except Playstation and XBox, well that was before 2008 anyways.
I grew up with a pirated NES and then a pirated Playstation. Nintendo systems are still a niche here where I live. While I don't have the dough to buy these games anyway, I really do love listening about them.
I wanna get a NeoGeo Pocket Colour someday though, that;s my retro dream xD
korohacker And I grew up with a modded PS1 and PS2 to play pirated games, kinda similar.
+598gh you were born in 1994 and you call yourself young?
lol
2:56 - LOL This is the best thing ever. Bullet proof vest and fortune cookie bring great honor to family!
Check the video description, I added the link to the SMS FM sound boards there.
About the Nam cover censored with marker, i would say it came from the Gulf, i used to live in Saudi Arabia and they always did that on games, toys, magazines, you name it. And they had an official NeoGeo store till the early 2000.
I regret i didn't get one when they were 50 Dollars brand new!!!
Best budget game? Freeware Cave Story
no
I bought Magicianlord the day this video came out for $50... It's going for $175 now..
Pro Skater 2 really was amazing. I've still got it on the N64 and love nothing more than busting it out for some old school fun.
Wow, the difference between NES Rampage and SMS Rampage is incredible! A pitty sega didn't get more support for the SMS, it was such a good console...
And that FM Sound! Why did they keep it into Japan... the difference is amazing!
How delightful it is to hear you say that, I am inspired.
Nice to see Jackal get love, In my top 5 fave games of all time
These budget videos don't age too well. Some of these games are so much more expensive these days. Nam 1975 for $40 new? Yes, please!
+supersnappahead
You're right. I just got Nam-1975 this year, in 2018, for $70 CIB, Best offer. The going rate is usually $99. The uncensored version I've seen go for $250 in auctions.
@@silverwings21 i know right.. Magician Lord can be seen for 500 dollars LOLOLOLOLOL.
Love the arranged Phoenix Wright song they added to make them look fancy lol
"Trouble bruin' back stage." I see what you did there. So happy to see you guys finally featured Dynamite Headdy. Fantastic show, and another couple of games for me to be on the lookout for.
Rise of the Dragon and Snatcher were my 2 favorite Sega CD games of all time :)
Yeah that'd have to be a separate video, but I don't think that even combined that we own too many different compilations. The Neo Geo compilations have some video scaling issues and they are present no matter what version you get (Wii, PS2, etc). You can see this when the screen scrolls.
Jackal! Man, I remember playing that game growing up on the NES. It had to be one of my fav NES games. Another good game I love playing was Commando I believe it was made by Capcom.
Hilarious episode. Also I liked the breaking of the 4th wall, I was suspecting you guys were green screening your backgorunds for a while, now I can see your setup :)
I love the details, great game footage and obvious care that goes into your production. Superb work guys. You're the best!
Some channels I come to to be entertained. Some channels I come to to be educated. I come to Game Sack to be entertained AND educated! It saves me time and is worth every second. :D
SMB has some extra background graphics. Like the ice cream trees. Also, Luigi replaces 2 Player mode. He jumps higher, runs faster, changes direction and stops slower, and he gets an insane boat from springboards.
The sound that Sir Kibble looking enemy made when Headdy pushed him off the edge is hysterical to me for some reason
Rampage was another favourite as a kid. I had it on Master System, but I never knew about the FM sound support, that's amazing!
The remake of "a boy and his blob" was released for PC on Steam in 2016, nice people from the past! =D
Joe’s hairdo is killing me!
And the stach
Joe looks like the "I'd buy that for a dollar" guy from Robocop
It's been great to watch you guys from your humble beginning to your know multi million dollar video game show empire , you've been like my digital tamagochi, I look forward to further growth and some more TG16 features
A lot of these games were for systems that I don't own, but the idea is sound - the best way to play games is definitely to wait until prices come down or hunt for hidden, cheap gems.
Also, loved the ending. :D
Or emulation on gamecube
Jackal is probably one of my favorite games of all time!
But proto
In China Jackal was even more highly respected than any other country. We even entitled it to be a member of 老四强, which means the very 4 best games in nes, or famicon. The other 3 games are Life force, Rush'n Attack and of coz Contra. You know what? I still wonder how dare a mediocre game like Rush'n Attack to stand along with Contra, but we actually made it happened.
Dave looks like a legitimate Wall Street banker or CEO when he wears a suit and tie.
Another Great episode guys ! ! I keep looking forward to your videos all the time.
"Invincible cartwheel you learned in grade-school". Awesome. Lol
In the US it will cost you about $68 shipped. You do the install yourself. Check the link in the description.
Surprisingly enough doki doki panic started its life as a mario game. At some point it was shelved and later brought out as part of a Japanese special event. So its really a mario game -> special event game -> mario game.
Dynamite Heady is one of the best platform games ever made, and a hidden gem in the Sega Genesis library.
love the ideas you guys have, to put together what would otherwise be a random selection of games.
keep it up. you guys are boss.
Content ID is the reason but we never uploaded a different version of the video. I just know what's likely to get tagged and licensed music is very likely!
Thumbs up for A Boy and His Blob love. I absolutely loved this game for the Wii.
A Boy and His Blob isn't really "budget" for the Wii these days. Complete copies often go for about 25 dollars and that's a little on the high end of Wii games that are really on the lower end of price. A lot of great Wii games can be found for under 15 dollars, really. Great list though.
This video was made in 2013... Inflation sucks
+MrSlashStudios Inflate THIS!! *ziiiiiiiP**
Gaming on a budget
*pulls out CDX*
lol
Great video as always guys :D
I say dear chaps, this is a jolly good episode! A spiffing selection of games indeed~
Nice to see some love for Jackal, it's such a fun yet relatively unknown game.
I'm surprised you all didn't feature Phantom Dust for XBox. The game brand new was $20 in the U.S. and I felt it was an excellent game overall. If you haven't already, you should check it out.
As a broke gamer, I enjoyed this video! Another great thing are all these gaming collections... Sega has released a "greatest hits" package so many times that older ones go for pennies used, and can include up to 30 classics! Dreamcasts sell for no more than 50$, and at this moment, lots of games from the last round of console are real cheap, such as those Tony Hawk games mentioned. Great gems mentioned!
Indeed! Both are worth over twice that in my opinion.
Glad I watched this video, Jackal looks pretty fun.
For retro gaming on a budget all you really need is a modded console or a PC made within the last 15 years or so and a little hard drive space :)
I agree with Dave. Super Mario 2 aka Super Mario Usa is one of my favotites. Here is a hint. DokiDoki panic actually started conceptually as a Mario game. So I guess it went full circle.
Can you guys do a top whatever amount you feel like of Under rated Ps2 games or best of?
The music from Konami's NES port of _Skate or Die_ went surprisingly well with the footage of _Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2_ on the Sega Dreamcast.
No, it was already staple of the Mario series. It was not in Doki Doki Panic. It was added when they changed it to Super Mario Bros 2. It's absolutely worth mentioning. Your hearing must be stilted.
Brilliant! Thanks for another great episode
Yep. One of my favorite games for that console. Very entertaining.
Dude, you guys just reminded me that I need to add Jackal to my NES collection! I got close to beating it as a kid but never could quite do it.
I absolutely love the music for Magician Lord
The basketball in Dynamite Headdy is reaaaally easy! Just stand directly in front of one of the machines, then just jump on the spot, no going left or right, throwing your head up as you jump :)
7:55 The best scream in a video game lol.
This is a GREAT idea for an episode. Most of all for people who have a low budget... like I do!
Rise of the Dragon looks really interesting, especially since I'm on a point-'n-click adventure game spree because of the resurrection of the genre lately. Your videos keep getting better, guys
Thank You and for the view.
Gamesack, I've got to say that's the most unflattering picture of Dave you could have possibly come up with :-)
The new thumbnail that is!
Someone probably already said this, but the reason some games were increased in difficulty is to make them harder to beat when renting them, so the rental places can make more money. In Japan rental is illegal, so the game difficulty doesn't have to be increased to encourage it.
Ironically, by making people more aware of these great titles, the collectable value will only rise
Thanks Guys 😈
Another enjoyable episode... Dave used to Skate?
Cool!
I also enjoy playing with Peach! I love SMB2, such a great game!!!
I only started watching your videos a few days ago. Great job guys.
I loved this episode" I need to get this suit back to my dad" your hilarious
I'd love to have a remake of this video for the modern day
